This open source RAG approach is amazing. The entire RAG industry may get cooked 🔥 This thing: - runs without a vector database. - skips embeddings entirely. - doesn't chunk your source document. - ignores similarity search completely. It's unlike everything else you're seeing on the market, and it just scored 98.7% on FinanceBench, which tests long financial filings. I've been building RAG stacks for businesses with vector retrieval. Most of them still crack at the seams with long docs and videos. PageIndex has a different approach, and it's open source and free: github.com/VectifyAI/PageInd… Here's what you need to know: 1️⃣ The index is a tree ↳ Instead of a vector index, it generates a table of contents for your PDFs ↳ Then an agent navigates it, like AlphaGo's tree search ↳ Retrieval returns references instead of vector hits 2️⃣ Why it beats chunked vector RAG ↳ Similarity is not the same as relevance ↳ Instead of vibe retrieval, every retrieval is traceable 3️⃣ What you don't have to run anymore ↳ No vector database to host ↳ No embeddings to rebuild every time your docs update ↳ A simpler stack that carries conversation context across turns 4️⃣ How to try it today ↳ Tell Claude Code or Codex to look at the GitHub repo ↳ Then have it build it in a secure, scalable way Realistically, vector RAG is far from dead. But this is the architecture I'd reach for in many long professional document cases. My vector database took the news poorly. How's your RAG doing? Let me know. ♻️ Repost to help other builders in your network. And follow Aakash Gupta for more on building with AI. 📷 Thank you, Rakesh Gohel, for the infographic. This is f*cking insane. Anthropic engineers dropped a 90-minute course on building AI agents from zero. Easily the best I've watched: • 00:01 - splitting the brain from the hands • 07:46 - what's inside Claude Managed Agents • 23:41 - a research agent, built step by step • 54:02 - scheduled agents that "dream" between tasks • 1:10:22 - evals, CI/CD, and running agents for lots of customers at once One video, and you won't need any $500 agent tutorial again. Watch it today.

🎉 Introducing OpenDuet Self-hostable, proactive AI agents that you own and works with ANY agent harness. Includes: - Build, generate, and edit live assets - Human-in-the-loop approvals - Computer use - Mobile, Web, and Channels Repo → github.com/CopilotKit/OpenDu… Powered by @CopilotKit and AG-UI. Clone this template and customize it however you want. Enterprise-ready.
We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

Claude Managed Agents dynamic workflows are now available in public beta. It's a new type of multiagent orchestration, built for your most ambitious workloads. A lead agent writes a plan that runs across many agents in phases, combining the results at the end.

The announcement we've been waiting for... Anthropic is about to drop their personal agent Duet (love the name) A direct competitor to Dots, Grok Bot, Hark, and Muse All powered by what I believe to be the best model on earth right now Opus 5.5 This is the one I'm anticipating the most. Claude more than any other AI has felt the BEST to talk to It feels truly human and collaborative This has been what's dearly missing from this new class of agent harnesses. None of them feel truly HUMAN I have no doubt this will be the warmest, most fun personal agent to use I truly believe this personal agent harness race is the most important race of them all. More important than the model race People are giving their personal agents access to EVERYTHING Their emails, calendars, text messages, finances, EVERYTHING This is unbelievably valuable data people are now willing to give away to any company that makes helpful assistants The winner of this harness race will have access to incredibly valuable data it can then use to train even better models Anthropic is officially coming for the crown

Today marks a new chapter for Windows, as we bring unmetered intelligence to every desk and every home, and make every PC a place where agents can work securely on your behalf. Some highlights of what we announced: • MAI-Code-1.1 Flash: 137B parameter coding model w/ 256K context window, which is now optimized to run on your PC! • GitHub Copilot now hands off work to local models like MAI-Code-1.1 Flash, helping projects cost a lot less without sacrificing quality. • With Hybrid Intelligence, Copilot can now take action directly on the PC and keep sensitive work on your device. • And with Code in Copilot, you can essentially build any software you need on your desktop, without any cloud token spend, and it’s just super at it. You’re no longer limited to what’s in an app store! Your PC becomes an infinite software factory. • Security is foundational to all this, which is why we are also bringing together Windows and Agent 365 so agents can work within secure boundaries on-device, including MXC a local sandbox for agent execution. Windows becomes your secure agent box! • All this comes to life on a new generation of devices, like Surface Laptop Ultra, powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark. Can’t wait to see what you build with all this.

You were reputedly known for being a difficult person, but you're best remembered as a visionary entrepreneur worldwide. I have your iconic self portrait photo on my iphone devices over the years since your passing - as a mark of respect. Thank you for everything Steve. 🫡🫡🤳🤳
There are people who leave a mark on the world, and then there are people who change it entirely. Steve changed the world and so many lives in the process. He certainly changed my life forever. His spirit lives on in everything he created and everyone he inspired.

Anthropic engineer: "99% of our engineers run swarms of 300+ self-improving agents" "Now everyone is building agentic graphs" In a 20-minute session, an Anthropic team member breaks down how graph engineering turns isolated agents into systems that improve themselves The real setup is Claude running through graph workflows, plan mode, and dynamic orchestration Agents → Loops → Graphs → Self-Improving Systems Better than most $300 graph engineering courses Bookmark and watch the talk Then read the article below

Opus 5.5 Coming This Tuesday - Opus 5.5 is in stealth testing under the codename claude-wafer-eap. It was previously to be Opus 5.2, but now they have changed their plan to Opus 5.5. - I think they changed it because Opus 5.5 has significant changes compared with Opus 5.1. - Its around the level of Astra and Fable 5.1, and in some areas can perform even better. - Its quite good at 3D and frontend work, with better attention to small details and more polished outputs. - Pricing: $4 input / $20 output per 1M tokens, $0.20 cache read / $5 cache write. Context window: 872K down from 936K. - This makes it around 20% cheaper than Opus 5.1. And this time, Opus 5.5 > GPT-6 Sol. Anthropic gonna be back.
Anthropic is currently stealth testing Opus 5.5 (`claude-opus-5-5`) under the codename `claude-wafer-eap` which is planned to be released on Tuesday.
