I finally picked up a used 3DS. I loved my DS Lite but skipped the 3DS as I was just getting started in my career around that time and was working too much. This used 3DS already is seeing more screen time than my phone and I'm happier for it.
I can't say I've ever seen anyone talking about Assassin's Creed and decide to shorten it to just simply "AssCreed", I have seen it is as just "AC" before. Not sure what @GamesRadar is going for here.

the elites don't want you to know this, but you can trivially pop out the crappy plastic wheels of your office chair and replace them with insanely smooth-rolling skate wheels

I strongly dislike Smart TVs forcing ads on users when it's a full bought and paid for product. But even worse is that Smart TVs just always emit a Bluetooth beacon or guest wifi for casting. Because I want strangers walking by my house to know that I have 2 nice TVs to steal.

Unexpected PicoBoot update! I've released v0.4 which mostly addresses housekeeping tasks and hopefully makes further development easier. The wiring diagram is slightly modified but existing users don't need to change anything. github.com/webhdx/PicoBoot/r…

Today I learned Wikipedia has an article for each day of the year. At first it seems to trivial, but then makes sense once you consider how big each of those pages would be if it documented every major event that happened on each day.
This video by MXDash2 highlights a great argument for why games on CRT's looked so much better than in emulators with sharp pixels: Things that are supposed to look round actually look round instead of made of Lego.
