To makeup artists: if the reason you charge ridiculously low prices for your services is because you use cheap and low quality products, I think it’s time to rethink your decision. You cannot continue using substandard products and ruining other people’s work, especially that of photographers. Invest in good products, improve the quality of your service and charge what your work is worth. Imagine a client coming from your studio to a photographer’s studio, only for their makeup to have practically worn off before the shoot even begins. The whole journey was even less than 30 minutes. Please, do better 🥲🤲

For nearly 20 years, over 300 containers of transmission equipment sat stranded at our ports. This equipment was bought to expand the network, relieve overloaded substations and bring more reliable electricity to Nigerians.
Yesterday, the Nigeria Customs Service approved the release of the first 98. Our engineers will now verify the equipment, test it and deploy it where it is needed most. That means completing stalled projects, easing pressure on overloaded substations and strengthening the grid.
This is a significant first step, and we are working to secure the release of the remaining 200+ containers without further delay.
We are grateful to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for approving the release. We also thank the Comptroller-General and officers of the Nigeria Customs Service, the Honourable Minister of Finance, the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, the Nigerian Ports Authority, the terminal operators and the TCN team for their support.

Just like women, some Christian’s always fantasise being a victim.
To most of us who attended public primary school and even some private secondary schools in the southwest, there is no Christian song that we do not know.
There is no hymn songs that we do not know.
They beat us if we don’t have hymn books, our girls must wear beret and not hijab.. we must attend Thursday special prayer assemblies etc, and we did not turn Christians.
Instead we had a balanced view about religion.
We learnt tolerance, we learnt about the Christian faith.
Same way many Christians who went to some public schools, they learnt some Arabic verses and songs.
No one forced them to be Muslim.
You went to England where people barely go to church, and you set camera and microphone because of an excursion to the mosque.
Let’s be calming down..
Moreover, no one will help you set boundaries in your religion. If your religion doesn’t have a boundary, it’s not the fault of other religions.
A Christian friend of mine once said “if you leave the affairs of this world solely to Christians, it would become the worst place to be”
