Saas portfolio making $36K/month. Sharing my raw, unfiltered founder journey. 5 successful exits.

People see "21 y/o + $35k/mo" But I spent my entire teens: - learning daily (8-12 hours on laptop) - building weird apps - killing projects that didn’t teach me enough Now AI just removed my all my bottlenecks, there is no excuse not to scale anymore. After 10 years of compounding experiments, failures, and quitting anything that stopped my learning I'm ready for a new chapter, watch what happens next.
Introducing Ayush at the Hacker Residency (he's 21 and his apps make more than $35k/month 🤯)

You can spend months doing SEO and still get barely crawled by Google if there’s no real demand. But when the demand is there, you can launch today, get crawled, and rank at the top almost immediately. SEO matters, but the idea matters way more.

Overheard some people who just discovered AI auto complete and Github co-pilot Meanwhile everyone on X got AGI at home. Is this a bubble?

They should have asked ChatGPT where to host
The Anthropic team is brilliant! Out of all the places in India, they decided to host the Fable buildathon only in Bhopal

Has anyone here run a Kickstarter campaign before? I’m launching one soon and would love to hear about your experience, what worked, what didn’t, and anything you wish you knew beforehand.

Got into my first big Reddit beef, and oh man, this other guy is just touching a new low
I might be onto something here? Reddit isn't that bad if you use it for just the right things

I’m launching something new today/tomorrow (it’s more than just software this time 👀) This project made me feel the potential of AI at a new level

I’ve been excited about Omarchy since this project started This move feels like beginning of bloatware and something that only Microsoft would do
Omarchy 4.1 is going to ship with @theo's T3 Code. Because beefs are dumb, and we should all just be excited about the tech. It takes literally just a few seconds to get going!

These aren’t numbers from a VC-backed company with 200 employees. They’re the last 30 days across my projects making $36k MRR

I’ve always believed you should never fight customers over refunds. They’re less than 1% of revenue, and the goodwill is worth more. But someone just requested a refund after using the product for 5 years. At what point do you draw the line?

We are going through massive changes in the industry, the ones who survive this storm will see the light. I think the first principles of building a business remains the same and instead of focusing on building an app we should focus on building a business.
Alright, enough with the "SaaS is dead" and "indie-hacking is dead". I gotta admit I was lowkey influenced by the negativity too. So I actually went & collected a few recent positive examples in 2026: • Postiz (@wickedguro): ~$17k → $145k MRR in 4 months, now at $2M ARR • Marc Lou (@marclou): his 3 newest ones (TrustMRR + DataFast + Ship or Die) grew passed his breakout success (ShipFast + CodeFast) in 2026 • Sleek (@mattiapomelli & friends): $10k in a few weeks, $25k in 6 months (met them in Bali, solid guys) Plenty more on @IndieHackers: $7k side projects, $50k - $125k businesses running entirely by AI Company formation at all-time highs. Solo founders reach ramen profitability a lot faster. So yeah… SaaS isn’t dead. Indie-hacking isn’t dead. But you gotta change both the product and the distribution big time.
