I grew up in the Bay Area, raised by a single mom, we rented & moved a lot. I worked in retail, went to public childcare, public schools & public university.
I've spent my life in public service because I believe in our city & its people, and we've still got so much work to do.
Lots of used Covid test kits on the street today. Shouldn't this be treated as medical waste not as standard refuse?

Texas has effectively banned a woman’s right to choose.
Passed the worst voter suppression law in the country.
And continue to push anti-science COVID laws that put lives at risk.
This could be the future of CA if we don’t vote NO on the Republican Recall by 9/14.
VOTE.

If you don’t want California to become Texas, you need to vote NO on the @GavinNewsom recall.

Supervisor Haney @MattHaneySF was extremely responsive during this entire process.. I am very lucky to be located in a district that is represented by a supervisor who really supports #smallbusiness!

It's Official, Our parklet is approved! 🥳
Very special thanks goes to Han @hanzousf from Supervisor Haney's office @MattHaneySF
Han was amazing!! He provided lots of guidance and support. He left no stone unturned in our bid to obtain approval for our outdoor area! – at San Francisco, CA
Read this comment, and sign the petition. It is critical that we support small businesses during this time. To further damage our restaurant community by removal of parklets- especially for redundant and unnecessary bus stops is ridiculous a... chng.it/vKwCHWKt via @Change
We need your help to save our parklet from destruction! Please take a moment to sign our petition

We need to come to terms with $16 sandwiches, $18 burritos, pizzas that cost $50. 4oz $16 cocktails have been standard for years now. I got a medium iced coffee last week that was $8. The burden of pricing shouldnt be on the restaurant, it should be on all of us.

If you’re new to the whole idea of reuse, start with a few baby steps that are easy to handle. Once you become comfortable with those, work your way up to the big stuff.
