What even is the point of doing anything at all anymore? Do I just have a pessimistic doomer mindset, or am I valid to think that this is going to literally destroy the gaming market? Piracy will revolutionize and become unstoppable especially if lots of these AI platforms go public. We are already seeing the effects now. Sales will plummet for consoles and gaming platforms like steam or Xbox if people can just reverse engineer it for about 20 bucks with claude. Computer components like GPU and RAM will skyrocket and become unaffordable for the average person. I say this not just in response to this qouted post, but for the many posts like these that have been popping up over the last few weeks/months.
