I’m not fully back yet, still living in the environment of grief, but I thought I’d throw this out there. Maybe some people won’t recognize me at first, but it’s time to change the PFP. The last time I changed it was when BAYC minted, and I haven’t touched it since. That should tell you how much this means to me. I know where I believe this goes, and if there’s one thing I want to be remembered for this cycle, let it be this: I was the UFD guy. Many of you have asked for my thoughts regarding the Federal Reserve interest rate decision today.
As the market expected, we had an increase in the rate, and it was communicated to expect another in the not too distant future.
This creates a lot of noise in the mainstream Financial media, because they like to play it up for views.
The reality is that the Federal Reserve has been severely hampered in their ability to implement effective monetary policy. This is because of a crippling national debt and the associated interest expense.
It is a condition called fiscal dominance, which is when a countries financial position begins to dictate or impact both monetary policy and fiscal decisions.
Bottom line, we may have some chop in the coming few months, but over a long-term basis non Fiat assets will perform.
