To those who say, “I don’t vote,” don’t worry. APC may have already used your data to register you without your knowledge, and they’ll be ready to vote on your behalf. Then you’ll wonder why your choice never mattered.

I think Nigerians may need to take to d streets and demand an independent forensic audit of INEC’s voter register to uncover any more fake or ghost voters. The investigation must be independent, transparent, and thorough, with anyone found culpable held accountable @inecnigeria

We are not just demanding answers from INEC. We demand a thorough investigation into whoever used an AI-generated image on the voters’ register, followed by prosecution and imprisonment if found guilty. Enough is enough! @inecnigeria #occupyinecnigeria

Replying to @BarackObama
@BarackObama , Just so you know, since this picture was taken, Nigeria has never truly recovered. What was once a country with hope for a better future has deteriorated into one where millions struggle to survive.

Today, families can barely afford food, pregnant women struggle to access basic healthcare, and quality education is increasingly becoming a privilege reserved for the wealthy. Over 133 million Nigerians are now living in multidimensional poverty.THANK U @OfficialAPCNg @ARISEtv
Nigeria belongs to all of us, and fixing it is the responsibility of every Nigerian, regardless of tribe or religion. We cannot demand a better country while allowing bigotry to dictate who we support or condemn.

The Nigeria we desire will only emerge when we put competence, integrity, and the common good above tribal sentiments. May we never allow the poison of tribalism to silence our conscience or divide us against one another. A

better Nigeria is possible, but only if we are courageous enough to stand for what is right, no matter who is involved. God bless everyone who chooses Nigeria over tribalism.

To the Igbos who refused to bow to bigotry and instead stood up boldly to speak out against fake products in Nigeria, may God bless you abundantly! You chose integrity over tribal prejudice and truth over division, and that deserves to be applauded.

In 2023, they told us, “Ọmọ ẹni kì í ṣe débi bẹ́ẹ̀rẹ̀.-one’s own child cannot be that bad.” Today, faced with their failures and with nothing tangible to campaign on, they have resorted to “Ọmọ ẹni kì í burú - our own child can do no wrong, no matter how wrong they are

Apparently, when it is time to seek power, they promise competence and accountability. When it is time to account for their failures, tribal loyalty becomes their strongest campaign strategy. Nigeria deserves better…

Can a President use the protection of Section 308 of the Nigerian Constitution as a shield while in office, then escape personal accountability after leaving office for an unlawful act allegedly committed for personal or political reasons? @NigBarAssoc

The Bible says that even a fool, when he keeps silent, may be regarded as wise. I used to consider Segun Sowunmi intelligent, brilliant, and articulate until he joined the APC.

Honestly, there seems to be something deeply troubling about the kind of reasoning some people exhibit after aligning themselves with Tinubu. It is disturbing to watch someone you once regarded as intellectually sound compromise the very qualities that earned them your respect

One of d achievements Tinubu’s political urchins love to celebrate is d disappearance of queues at fuel stations. dis video proves otherwise: Nigerians would rather endure a very loooong queue to buy cheaper fuel than enjoy queue-free fuel stations where petrol is sold at exorbi
THE NNPC DISCOUNT FRAUD; ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR VINDICATED Today, I visited the MRS/NNPC petrol stations in the Gaduwa area of the FCT to find out first hand what the situation is. Remember the Tinubu’s regime had promised Nigerians what they described as 'DISCOUNT' for petrol for 30 days to reduce transportation costs. The discount which was supposed to be exclusively for @nnpclimited petrol stations was supposed to run from October 8 through 31st. The Finance Minister, @taiwoyedele said it was a margin-based reduction, that is, NNPC selling at cost by foregoing the company's retail profit and selling at a cost ceiling of N1,350 per litre. Oyedele said the program would be reviewed at the end of the 30 day window to evaluate next step and sustainability. Nigerians questioned this arrangement. Majority of Nigerians complained about the long-term viability and why it was limited to NNPC petrol stations alone. But the question i want to ask, is there any Nigerian that have bought petrol from any NNPC station for N1,350 since Oyedele's announcement? Because I have never seen it. Today is 20th October. For a program they said Nigerians would enjoy till 30th, Nigerians have not enjoyed it even for a day, 12 days later. Please, what do we call that? Were Nigerians not DEFRAUDED with that announcement? So, from my visit to MRS and NNPC today, it is very clear Nigerians don't TRUST the government, it's institutions, and whatever they stand for. While MRS was selling petrol at N1,409 per liter, NNPC just next door was selling for N1,405, which was cheaper, but Nigerians preferred buying the MRS which was more expensive. The story is the same everywhere. What does that tell us? There is nobody in Europe that will see two petrol stations sharing same fence and drive into the one that is more expensive. Even if the difference is just one cent. President Tinubu promised Nigerians "24/7 electricity by all means possible," during the campaigns in 2022. And that there would no estimated billing. He said if he can't do it, Nigerian shouldn't vote for him for a second term. Today, Nigerians are still paying estimated billings, and even those on 'Band A' still struggle to get electricity even in areas like Guzape, in the FCT, where most of his ministers and appointees live. Now, when Alhaji @atiku Abubakar said they copied his program, Tinubu’s spokesmen and supporters insulted Atiku, but here we are. It is not like Nigerians will rush to NNPC to buy their petrol if it sells for N1,350, but it is good to know that this was just another FRAUD. They stole the program just to counter Atiku's subsidy promise, but they couldn't even implement it. @ishakaa @realYusufTukur @uchediala @Laurestar @phrankangel @ThatIsokoLawyer @PeresDiyerin

Tinubu sits on the mandate, his praise singers feast on it, the enablers prop it up, and ordinary Nigerians carry it on their heads. Then they call it renewed hope when the people at the bottom are crushed. @ruffydfire @OfficialAPCNg @MobilePunch @seunokin @ARISEtv @channelstv

One of Nigeria's biggest problems is that many citizens defend politicians more fiercely than they demand results from them. A politician is a public servant, not a family member. Hold every government accountable, regardless of party.

I think my days on Nairaland have finally come to an end. I’m tired of the apparent double standards, selective moderation, religious bigotry, and unverified allegations being allowed to pass as informed discussions, particularly against the Catholic Church.

Freedom of expression must be fair and consistent. If this is the standard Nairaland has chosen, then I no longer belong here. I’m out. nairaland.com/8763870/think-…

Country music is slowly losing the legends who gave it its soul. With Dolly Parton’s passing, another great chapter comes to an end. Rest in peace, Dolly. Your music and legacy will live forever. #DollyParton #RIPDollyParton #CountryMusic #EndOfAnEra #MusicLegend
