ANNOUNCEMENT: @HashCloakLabs is not @hashcloak.
It's an impersonator.
@hashcloak is a consulting company and under NO circumstances will we be launching a coin.
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm pretty generally anti-shitcoin (with nuances of course).
If you bought a token supposedly associated with hashcloak, you've been scammed.

The only way out is through.
They're calling it the Bugpocalypse. LLMs are being used to find long-hidden cracks in the software infrastructure, and it's happening at a furious rate. 3% of all compromises in computing history happened in the last week, claims one source? I believe it.
There are people saying public access to the frontier models ought to be locked out, or heavily guardrailed, over this. The problem with that idea can be summed up in one sentence: when lockpicks are outlawed, only outlaws will have lockpicks.
The lockpicks will be Chinese open-weight models, if nothing else. There's no way to stop those from becoming ubiquitous.
There are two futures in front of us. One in which only the bad guys have lockpicks, and security holes go undiscovered until they're exploited. Another in which everybody has lockpicks and is aggressively red-teaming their own software so it gets fixed before the holes are exploited.
The corpus of human code is huge but finite. The number of defects in it has to be finite too. We can fix those defects now; we have a million friendly robots to do it with.
The only way out is through.

You have to make every single detail perfect, and you have to limit the number of details.

Considering how boring F1 has been this year, I might actually consider watching El Classico instead
Motorsport is made for TV
I think there's a lesson in there for retail shopping vs online shopping
Online shopping is more convenient and you have way more options but retail shopping is more experiential
Watching motosports IRL is way more experiential than watching it on TV where you see all the action
I had GPT-6.1-sol do an RCA and plan on how to fix a range of issues and I'm having GLM5.3 implement it
And as expected, it's taking GLM5.3 much much longer to finish it 😅
GPT-6.1 really is just overcompensating for some reason
Okay, Man U's been playing like shit all season and I don't even feel like being a plastic fan anymore

If we increasingly rely on LLM's trained on existing words, structures and phrasing, how does language evolve? How are new words created? What's the future for slang, patois and jargon?
The amount of creative people that use threads is really high?
No wonder X is missing genuinely creative people. They were all on Instagram and thus now use threads
Trying this with 6.1-sol and it can't even manage the hermes runtime to switch the model despite the fact that I've done it before but with 6.1-sol and 5.6-sol 🤣🤣🤣
"I used to be satisfied just playing video games. Then I found I required more… unusual entertainment."

"No. Lying about using cryptography while I'm just using TEEs instead"

"Why is formal verification exploding NOW?"
1. Nobody understands the code LLMs write
2. Everybody hopes for some deus ex machina

A few months ago I hosted a cybersecurity "Ugh Day" (a group chore day) for my friends.
The format worked so well I think everyone should steal it:
1. List the accounts/devices that would be most devastating to lose… bank, email, phone, etc.
2. For each one, find its “weakest link” an attacker could use to get in.
3. Turn those into a todo list and fix them.
We found things like:
- someone was using their phone without a password. and their phone had unrestricted access to email and 2fa. meaning if they lost their phone someone could steal everything.
- someone was using as their recovery email an insecure Hotmail account made at age 10
- someone was still using as their ex lover’s email as a recovery email
So much low hanging fruit to fix!
I think a lot of people feel dread and avoidance around personal security, doing this together really helped.
Ngl, never watched a Serie A game before today despite getting into soccer during peak Serie A in the 2000s
The quality of this Napoli v Roma game is actually pretty good?
Like yeah, it's slower paced but technically the players are pretty good. The tactics and formations are not as sophisticated as EPL but still pro-level.
I swear everyone just be hating on all leagues that are not EPL and don't even watch the actual games
