My ApeFest thoughts and highlights, coming to you a few days late: - It was amazing to see so many familiar faces. There are so many new names on the timeline, I was worried I wouldn't know many people. Total opposite. Felt like a reunion with a bunch of old friends. - The OGs are all getting older. I ran into one of my old colleagues and the first thing he said to me was "You look older!" (Thanks @aloksahay 😅). I know it's not just me though. It's been five years since mint, and many of us now have more greys, more kids, more wrinkles, etc. - That speaks to the value of new blood and onboarding the next generation of apes. The club needs to evolve with crypto culture and the broader culture to stay relevant, and that's something we should embrace. - Absolutely loved the surprise Mudwater drop. Super impressed with everybody @ Yuga and Ape for keeping it so well under wraps. - Thought not doing a keynote was a really smart move by Figge. Return to underpromising and overdelivering. Surprise and delight. - One of my favourite moments was going head to head with @badte_eth for the BAYC trait game championship. We played 11 rounds and he edged me out. But come on, I knew I was cooked as soon as I saw my opposition was the creator of Rara Avis 😅 - Final thought: Muddy's was my favourite venue. Felt like I was in the real life clubhouse there. Would love see more BAYC events in locations like that. Tagging a bunch of friends I appreciated catching up with, even briefly. I know there are others I'm forgetting. Great to see you all.
