If we don't fake an injury for Raphinha before this international break and he ends up getting injured again, I'll never forgive either him or the club for this terrible management.

Rivals invented grade 3 sprain to miss 3 weeks of international break and prepare for big games. Raphinha can fuck off if he goes to Brazil again while half fit.

Flick has to learn to be less aggressive in the first half of the season. For example, it‘s okay to tell your players to slow down and sub off Yamal and Raphinha if you‘re already leading 3-0 50 minutes into the game. The fatigue is what costs Flick normally

Why didn’t Flick adapt his tactics to the situation? We were drawing, and the gap at the top was still 6 points. Real Madrid were the ones who needed a win to cut that gap to 3 points, so why keep pressing so high and leaving so much space behind our defence?
We could have dropped into a low block in the final minutes and looked to hit them on the counter. Adeyemi’s pace, Frenkie’s ability to carry the ball and Gabriel Jesus’ movement gave us the perfect options to exploit the spaces Madrid would have left behind while pushing forward for a winner.
We didn’t need to take unnecessary risks when a draw was still a decent result for us. Madrid had to chase the game, not us. Let them commit players forward and punish them in transition.
We learned nothing from the Inter game. We learned nothing from the Atlético game. And now we’re making the same mistakes again.
At some point, Flick has to understand that adapting to the game doesn’t mean abandoning your philosophy. It means knowing when to take risks and when to manage the result. You cannot play every single minute the same way and expect to win the biggest games.

You won’t go far in the Champions League with this backline.
First two real tests of the season so far, and we’ve seen what’s been exposed. Hopefully the board realizes it now.

🚨 CENTRE-BACKS BARCELONA COULD HAVE SIGNED THIS SUMMER:
🇮🇹 Alessandro Bastoni — €70M
🇦🇷 Cristian Romero — €30-40M
🇫🇷 Castello Lukeba — €60M
🇭🇷 Luka Vušković — €54M
🇩🇪 Nico Schlotterbeck — €50M
🇵🇹 Gonçalo Inácio — €45M
Ronald Araujo left. Álvaro Cortés left. Barcelona brought in NOT A SINGLE centre-back to replace them.
A MASSIVE mistake by Deco and Barcelona's sporting management.
Just as we praise Deco when he gets things right, we must also hold him accountable when he gets things wrong.
Failing to strengthen the defence this summer was a serious failure in squad planning, and Barcelona are now paying the price.
