🗣️ "The level of coaching, I've not really seen anything like that before." Paul Scholes was blown away after watching Fabian Hürzeler and his Brighton coaching staff put the players through their paces! 👏

So many Palace fans have left early that rather than kettling the remainder after the game, the police can just man-mark them #bhafc

It's 3-0, gone a bit quiet. Call me greedy, I want more. I can still remember the 5-0 defeat up there. We can finally avenge that. Come on boys, keep pushing! #bhafc

Not having Saudi money is not lack of ambition. We are progressing steadily year on year and constantly hitting our targets (1. Promotion 2. Top 10 3. Europe) Next targets will be consistent Europe and a trophy. We came from league 2 and now sit 3rd in Prem. No ambition 😂😂😂

Lots of chatter from the so called big 6 fans today, plus from clubs we’ve consistently finished above in recent times. I honestly don’t give a shit what they think Brighton are about, or our ambitions. We know the truth. Brighton til I die #bhafc

In the past 10 years, Brighton have grown their revenue from around £24m to £222m. Sold their best players. Recruited well. Rebuilt. Improved. Grew again. No crying about the rules. No moaning that the system is against them. Just smart recruitment and good decisions. Respect

Just reading that, I forgot how systematically City bought Arsenal’s better players for a while. For sure weakening Wenger teams. It made me realise the parallels with us. In a way City were the Chelsea to Arsenal’s Brighton. Hadn’t quite seen that parallel before.
🚨🚨🎙️| Paul Merson on how Manchester City should be punished after the guilty FFP verdict: "First of all, take all their trophies away. I think that's the first thing. "It's not because of us; it's our children's, children's, children in 50, 60 or 70 years. If you look through and see that Manchester City dominated, it's not going to say underneath that they were guilty of anything, so I think that's got to be taken off. "I'm not saying to go and give those titles to whoever finished second because I think that's a real kick in the teeth in itself if you go and do that. "But I think that's got to be wiped. For me, in my opinion, that's got to be wiped off the face that they dominated it by doing what they were doing. "I'm not just saying this because it's Arsenal, but at the same time, they were buying Arsenal's best players and made it even worse. "Arsène Wenger was trying to make something happen, build a stadium and then trying to be successful… and City are doing what they're doing, and then they're buying Arsenal's best players and taking them to City. "So that makes Arsenal even weaker! For me, straightaway it would be that [taking the title away]."

DOES THIS RESONATE WITH ANYONE? (I feel a bit like Jerry Maguire, as it's a bit of a manifesto for humankind.😌) I'd love to hear your views. Cheers, Jon 👇 I believe something important is happening to the way we live. Modern technology allows us to be more connected digitally than ever before - and yet it's becoming increasingly easy to go through an entire day without really connecting face-to-face with the humans around us. We look down. Put our headphones in. Send messages to people miles away while barely noticing the person standing beside us. And in doing so, we risk missing something. Each other. Every day, life puts us alongside people we don't know — or don't know well. The person beside us on the train. Someone waiting for coffee. A fellow dog walker. The neighbour we recognise but have never really spoken to. The stranger sitting next to us at the bar. Most of these encounters will pass unnoticed. But they don't have to. A smile can become a hello. A question can become a conversation. A shared observation can become a laugh. Two strangers can become, just for a moment, two humans connecting. And those little moments matter. Research suggests that even brief interactions with strangers and acquaintances can lift our mood, strengthen our sense of belonging and make everyday life more enjoyable. That's where Meetology® comes in. Meetology® is the science powering face-to-face human connection. And it's the subject I created, am passionate about and speak on internationally. It takes fascinating behavioural research and turns it into simple, practical experiments - Meetology® Micros - designed to be tried with the people we encounter in real life. Not to sell something. Not to network. Not to get something from somebody. Simply to discover what might happen when we become a little more intentional about connecting with the humans around us. Because we believe connection doesn't have to become a friendship to matter. A conversation doesn't need a purpose to have value. And someone doesn't need to become part of our life to make a small difference to it. I'm on a mssion to create a global community of people who look up a little more often. Who remain curious about the strangers and familiar faces around them. Who are willing to try the experiment, start the conversation and make a little more of the opportunities everyday life presents. If this DOES resonate, then this week sees the launch of the Meetology® Social Club, which you might want to explore. meetology.com/ Join the club. Try the experiments. Make life more human. Reconnecting Humans in a Disconnected World® Cheers
