Ireland’s military is moving into the 21st century – some fear it is not ready:

Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin says Jewish morality requires killing the babies of your enemies.
"Because I'm Jewish, and I guess I'm a little bit weak morally, I don't want to see babies being killed," but "morally that's what should have been done," Feiglin says.
"If we would have done [to] Gaza...what the Americans did in Nagasaki…this movie NAZA…would have never came. The world would be with us just as they were with us after we won the Six-Day War."
Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin says Jewish morality requires "wiping out" Gaza and the West Bank.
Q: "Is it a Jewish point of view to like wipe out all of Gaza…and annex the West Bank?"
Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin: "100 percent."
Feiglin adds that all "Arabs" in Gaza—including babies—are the "enemy," not simply Hamas.
"Every child, every baby in Gaza is an enemy," Feiglin said explicitly last year. "The enemy is not Hamas."

I have spent the last few weeks building Public Purse Ireland.
Its aim is simple. List every line item of government expenditure with the supplier, description and the amount, starting with grants and purchase orders.
No fancy charts, no broad economic strokes, but just there in black and white.
The information is out there, scattered and hidden on the web. Public Purse brings it under one roof.
The Defence Forces Conciliation Scheme has been operating without an adjudicator despite the Labour Court nominating one in December 2025.
That recommendation has been "ignored".

It’s always those who have never served who shout the loudest about going to war!
What a ridiculous take in 2026.
If Ireland wants Northern Ireland it will have to fight for it. Ireland doesn’t even have a proper military, has no real air force or navy, is not a member of NATO, is a neutral country and even depends on the UK for protection. N. Ireland will be British for hundreds more years.

Any future moves towards Irish unity are enshrined in law as per the Good Friday Agreement/Belfast Agreement by a referendum in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. There is no requirement for a war and any suggestion of such is factually incorrect

I have little time for TikTok either as an app or organisation but they are right to ignore this kangaroo court.
The attempt by Irish politicans and their media lickspittals to move the blame away from the failure of the Irish justice system is laughable.

That was 2021.

"Eleven particularly active members of the gang have been charged a combined 427 times - an average of 39 times each."
What’s the point of multiple charges if it doesn’t result in conviction and sentencing?
Without certainty of conviction and sentencing for crime, the criminal legal system is little more than an expensive form of pantomime.
I just read about the so called “Lucky Dip” gang; a group of up to 60 juveniles all males whose average is 17. Eleven particularly active members of the gang have been charged a combined 427 times - an average of 39 times each.
