Jim Parker was a good man, took us out to eat at nice restaurants, often ate with us in the dining hall, spent time discussing whatever we wanted to discuss. I was in one of his shepherding groups and took his intro to philosophy class. He will be missed:
Dr. Jim Parker, former @SBTS prof. Graduate of Trinity, Princeton, Basil, and John Hopkins, passed away early this past Saturday morning. Dr. Paker will be missed. He was a genuine treasure. And interestingly enough, I inherited his personal library.

Guesstimating nearly 500 people walked through the Trunk or Treats at Richardsville Elementary’s Fall Festival tonight, and these folks were awesome hosts. 37 families registered with our QR code, 19 of them not in church, and 7 of them looking for a church.
