It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Coach Jeff Trundy. His tenure with the Cape League began in 1995, initially as an assistant coach with Cotuit and then as head coach with Falmouth in 1999. In 2023, Coach Trundy achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing the 500-win mark. Recognized for his exceptional coaching abilities, he was honored with the Mike Curran Manager of the Year Award in 2004, 2016, 2019, and 2024. His legacy was immortalized when he entered the Cape League Hall of Fame last November. Known throughout the league and beyond as “Gentleman Jeff,” he has consistently demonstrated the principles of coaching and mentorship, while providing an exceptional experience for his players. We express our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fans whose lives he touched.

“You don’t play enough games”, “you practice too much”, “you travel too much”, “he wants to play with his friends”. 26 commits in the ‘25 class. Proud of these guys is an understatement!

Two more ‘25 grads ink their commitments. This time @bartoli_will & @fayz_baig making it official to @LIU_Baseball. Congrats guys!

Year 2 brought some unprecedented successes for this part of the state. Guys up this way no longer have to settle for generic programming, weak tournaments, and minimal college placement.

Another good day at diamond nation. 1-2 with two runs scored. First clip is a double play turned from behind the plate, second clip is a runner caught stealing at third, and third clip is a two strike single. @MattBurns_9 @MVPNEBaseball
2 hit day at diamond nation, pull side single and sat back on a change up to drop it in center field. @MattBurns_9 @MVPNEBaseball @gunnbase1850

The 2025 Class is shaping up nicely thus far, and many more players will be coming off the board in the next several weeks. Also excited for our 2026 class as many of them will have a busy day tomorrow! Results like these are why we do what we do.
