There are people out there claiming PIP for their "social anxiety" and this guy's fully Hawking and still managing to orchestrate international terror. Be inspired.

Almost 2 years after this legendary post by @stripe CEO @patrickc It looks like Stripe is finally coming to Israel. The $100B+ payments giant has posted a job for a General Manager in Israel, calling the country a โ€œstrategically important market.โ€ Stripe isnโ€™t officially available to Israeli businesses yet. But this hire looks like the first step toward changing that. The GM will lead local strategy, build a sales team, drive growth, and work directly with banks, fintechs, and regulators. And the salary? Up to โ‚ช1.8 million a year (~$590,000) in total compensation. Theyโ€™re looking for someone with 15+ years of experience, including a decade in senior leadership, fluent in both Hebrew and English. The playbook is familiar: hire the local leader, build the team, and expand into the market.
Great to be back in Tel Aviv. I missed this run.

This is incredible. An Algerian Hamas supporter who became an illegal overstayer in Britain, lied to immigration officers about it, and went to prison for it, is now in a senior role at the BBC. Because the Tories and Labour failed to deport him. Hicham Yezza has a long record of supporting Islamist violence. He was arrested in 2008 for possessing an al-Qaeda terrorist training manual. He came to Britain on a visa that expired in 2003. He stayed anyway. When immigration officers caught up with him, he told them his passport with the visa stamp had been stolen. They found it in his flat. A jury convicted him of deception. He was jailed for nine months. Then he won his appeal against deportation, and was later handed British citizenship. Now heโ€™s the Principal Data Scientist in the BBCโ€™s โ€œResponsible AIโ€ division, helping to decide how AI shapes what BBC News tells you. Before that he worked at BBC Monitoring, briefing BBC journalists on the Middle East. Can you guess what kind of briefings he gave them? He should never have been allowed to stay. Under Reform, people like him never will be. Under Operation Restoring Justice, we will detain and deport anyone who broke into our country. Our borders will mean something again.

I am horrified by the attack on my dear friend @FleurHassanN and am relieved that she and everyone else in the car is okay. The lawlessness in the West Bank harms Israelis and Palestinians alike. It must come to an end.

Police say eight Israeli suspects have been arrested on suspicion of participating in the weekend settler attacks on Palestinians, foreign diplomats, and a photojournalist in the West Bank. The police arrest operation, dubbed "Olive Leaf," began at dawn in a joint effort with the Shin Bet security agency and with IDF escort. "So far, eight suspects have been arrested and several vehicles have been seized," the police say, adding that IDF and Border Police forces are also "conducting enforcement operations" to dismantle illegal settler outposts, address violations of restraining orders issued by the army, and an "intrusion into a Palestinian home."

#News A BBC News article published in 2019 said that Rep. Ilhan Omar was born in Mogadishu in 1981 and described her as a 37-year-old mother of three. The BBC piece appeared in March 2019, months before Omar's staff requested an official change to her birth year. #Minnesota The BBC article praised her for being born in Africa and for being M*slim, then in the biographical section it read โ€œMs. Omar was born the youngest of seven siblings in Somaliaโ€™s capital Mogadishu in 1981." "Her mother died when she was two years old. Raised by her father and grandfather, the family fled the country during the Somali Civil War and spent four years in a Kenyan refugee camp before moving to the US in 1995.โ€ โžก๏ธThe same article referred to her as โ€œthe 37-year-old mother of three.โ€ That age calculation in early 2019 matches a 1981 birth year and does not match a 1982 birth year. โžก๏ธAt the time the BBC article ran, Minnesota Legislative Reference Library records listed her date of birth as October 4, 1981. โžก๏ธThose records had carried the 1981 year throughout her service in the Minnesota House (2017โ€“2019) and into the early months of her congressional term. โžก๏ธAn archived April 2019 page of the Biographical Directory of the U.S. Congress also listed her as born October 4, 1981, in Mogadishu. โžก๏ธOn May 17, 2019, Omarโ€™s congressional staff contacted the Minnesota Legislative Reference Library and stated that the birth year was incorrect. They requested the change to 1982. โžก๏ธThe change was requested after Omar's opponent highlighted that Omar couldn't have been eligible for derivative citizenship because she was already 18 when her dad allegedly naturalized. The library director summarized the request in a May 24, 2019, email: โ€œOn May 17, 2019, Library staff were informed by Rep. Omarโ€™s congressional staff that her birth year was incorrect and requested that we change it to 1982.โ€ The same email noted that staff were working to update Wikipedia and the Biographical Directory of the United States Congress. The libraryโ€™s current profile lists October 4, 1982, and includes this note: โ€œHer birth year is correct. It is incorrectly reported as 1981 in other sources." "As of May 24, 2019, Rep. Omarโ€™s congressional staff are working with Wikipedia and the U.S. House to correct her birth year in those sources.โ€ Deputy director David Schmidtke later confirmed to Snopes that the information was self-reported and that the library does not independently verify birthdates. Under the law then in effect, derivative citizenship required the child to be an unmarried permanent resident under 18. A 1981 birth year would have made her 18 or 19 during 2000, depending on the exact month of her fatherโ€™s naturalization. A 1982 birth year would have kept her under 18 for most of that year. What do you think? Is this enough to denaturalize and deport?

The French government has tragically and alarmingly lost control of its own territory. It is important to realize that this is what globalizing the #Intifada means: chaos, hatred, incitement and antisemitism are always the canary in the coal mine. It respects no boundaries and no social rules, ethics, and values. It decimates everything in sight. This is an important message for the West. I doubt Yakubu Gowon & T.Y. Danjuma ever imagined that their people would one day face such a fate. In life, one must carefully consider the long-term consequences of their actions, as the repercussions may not be immediate but can emerge long after the initial reactions ve faded
