Everyone should be opposing this, whether Pakhtun, Punjabi, Baloch or Sindhi. And clearly, most people in the country do.
As a Pukhtun, I strongly oppose the Governor’s recent actions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This is not merely a matter of political affiliation; it concerns our provincial autonomy, constitutional rights, and the dignity of the Pukhtun people. Any attempt to undermine the province’s authority or disregard the will of its people must be questioned. This is not about supporting or opposing a political party it is about protecting the rights, identity, and self-respect of Pukhtuns. Our concerns deserve to be addressed through constitutional principles, democratic dialogue, and respect for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This is an attack on the state on Pakistan. Governor rule is a betrayal of Pakistan by those who proclaim to protect it, and those political parties who have sealed their political futures by sowing the seeds of hatred and anger amongst the people.

An unelected caretaker setup in KP won't fix governance or security. It will only fuel anger and alienation. #NoGovernorRule

Emergency/ governor rule: Utterly unconstitutional, illegal, and absolute nonsense.

Imposition of emergency rule and the arrest of CM KP Sohail Afridi is one of the darkest chapters in our history. All those responsible, including PMLN, PPP, & the establishment, have committed an unpardonable crime against our people. Revolt against this tyranny is a duty!

An information minister defending a civilian government; a provincial CM agitating his case against that govt on tv and a tv anchor able to host both their points of view live. What freedoms we had back then. What we have squandered since. The air used to smell so free.

"Consequently, the bond between the Pakistani state and its citizens is as intrinsic and consequential as water is to fish, instruments are to musicians, and ‘national interest’ is to our armed forces." Misunderstanding Pakistan dawn.com/news/2033922

Workplace Harassment: The judgment does refer to the Nadia Naz judgment and seems to follow it in terms of what the term 'sexual' means. It seems to disapprove of subsequent judgments which it considers to have gone beyond what Nadia Naz said. See also the footnote reliances.

Lots of talk about the FCC holding that only acts of a sexual nature are w/i workplace harassment. I don't agree that it deleted gender based discrimination from the Act's scope. If anything, it seems to affirm the Nadia Naz case and disapprove of those who went beyond it later.

You can certainly argue it's been badly authored and that the imprecise nature of the language used leaves room for misconceptions.

Lots of handles exposing themselves and their clear affiliations right now. Take note everyone.

Perhaps if they aimed their guns at terrorists rather than students things would be different.

Venting by shooting into a crowd of students? Are you mad?
Just because a man is wearing a military uniform, he does not have the right to even defend the honor of his wife? The entire internet is attacking him because all they see is a military officer venting anger against a bunch of lads. Lt. Col. Asfandyar Wali's wife was disrespected by certain goons right in the middle of the university premise, he lost his cool and acted the way anyone would have acted. He did take the pistol out but that was only after he was seen manhandled by those goons. Instead of condemning the goons, everyone jumped to the conclusion started hounding the officer like hungry rabid-dogs.

There is a level of frustration in lawyers and clients attending court nowadays that I have not witnessed or seen before. They are less restrained and more vocal in terms of expressing their displeasure. Not a good sign for a judiciary already neck deep in a credibility crisis.
