We report: we have been observing the path of an atmospheric trough on the surface pressure charts. Over the past few days, it has gotten deeper, and drifted closer to us, although it is an incredibly slow development. We have not seen the barometer’s needle lower yet.

We report: on the long tail of this week’s storm, the wind still has big teeth. It is raking the sea, throwing sea foam into the air. When there is a lull in the weather, the smell of the ocean is overwhelming; the storm must have disturbed some creatures of the abyss.
ALT Digital painting of a stormy ocean: the light is a little yellow, coming through a jumble of dark grey clouds. The sea is wild, grey-blue, the sea foam a pale blue in the dim light.
