No ChatGPT proof could wow humanity the way the first person cured by penicillin did.

Pitchers are the best thing about baseball. Shame about the rest of the game.
And MLB has far more consistent higher velocities of 95+ being the STANDARD on top of EVERYTHING typically moving in someway with the ability to literally change speeds and movement types on every pitch while making them all look the same leaving the hand 👍

Come on @openai @claudeai find me a sub linear numerical method to solve the heat equation.

Yes because that would be giving the opposition 6 runs.
A cricket player could never do this and have this much swag 💀😂

It is so silly. The rules and equipment evolved over many, many years, and elite athletes have optimized around that. They are different sports. There is some crossover but its two different skill sets. If baseball evolved without gloves, it would be played much differently. If cricket evolved with gloves, it would be played much differently. Which is your favorite is purely opinion.

Also interesting is that humanity seems to have found the optimum-(ish) algorithms for here on earth.
These types of results are actually quite fascinating to me, while completely impractical, but there is a sense that somewhere between here and infinity there is a regime of really large numbers where things work differently than down here on earth.

True but baseball needs to go back to its roots and drop gloves for fielders.
This whole debate is incredibly stupid, mostly on the part of cricket fans. A cricket bowler cannot bend his elbow, significantly limiting the force and spin that can be imparted on the ball. The running start helps, but most of the ball’s motion comes from its bounce.

Big drop in quality from Ludwig season 1 to 2 :(

Baseball is trivially superior to cricket at the one thing that matters most to viewers: beer delivery.

It’s very impressive that humanity basically found the optimum for this universe.
Hilariously, OpenAI’s galactic algorithm for resolving the Exponential Time Hypothesis runs an exponential-time subroutine if the number of variables is less than 10^10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. That number is also known as infinity plus 1.

Ratatouille is such a great movie because it’s ruthlessly in favor of meritocratic inegalitarianism. “Anyone can cook,” not “everyone can cook.” The duty of Chef Linguini is to forfeit his arbitrary inherited status as a human and serve to elevate the deserving übermaus Remy.

The ball is at its terminal velocity. The cricket ball is almost certainly faster at the boundary.
How do cricket fans not understand that you wear a glove in baseball because balls are coming off the bat at 120 MPH and it would literally take your hand off You’ll never see a cricket ball reach 95+

Sharjeel’s dream!
Coalitions in Israel have only ever relied on independent Arab parties twice: 1. Rabin-Peres (1992–96) 2. Bennett-Lapid (2021–22) Both times it triggered a massive backlash that strengthened the right and politically buried the leaders involved (In Rabin’s case, literally).

How the backside connect gets done doesn’t matter at all for anything but the very local thermal behavior of the transistor, and in any case very little of the heat goes through the power delivery copper. It goes through the dielectric, then through the adhesion layer
