12 months on from the pollarding of our veteran Crack Willows and pleasing to see lots of new growth and the green space beneath the trees recovering well. @Aliceundo @victoria1w2 @bathamptonpc @batheastonpc @WaterSpaceBath @avonfrome @MoreTreesBANES

Somewhere in here are the Willow saplings we planted on the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day (2018). We also scattered some poppy seeds and they are just starting to flower on the 75th anniversary of D Day. @Aliceundo @victoria1w2 @BathAsmith @VoteSarahKevin @BathnesParks

All this in the #volunteer bin now sorted for recycling. @thatchers_cider ? Really need a @Deposit_return scheme. On the plus side, the Riverside was spotlessly clean. @VoteSarahKevin @bathamptonpc @batheastonpc @KeepBritainTidy @CPRE

⁦@fofbmr⁩ ⁦@victoria1w2⁩ ⁦@BathAsmith⁩ ⁦@batheastonpc⁩ Beautiful but solitary blue comfrey plant near the willow dome this evening, complete with solitary bee. Swifts overhead. White comfrey elsewhere. ⁦@avonwt⁩ ⁦@Bathscape⁩ #hopefornature

#swifts are back in Batheaston. Yay .😀❤ Small bundles of joy and awe. The first one I've seen this year just navigated past my head at high speed and straight into neighbour's wall - their annual nest. Respect.🧡

We need a botanist ! Also noticed a large healthy patch of Figwort just infront the riverside wall of Batheaston Gardens. We had a lot of Mullein Moth caterpillars feeding on these previously. Hope the footpath strimming spares these plants. @batheastonpc

Decided to tackle the recycling that our Riverside users have kept out of the bin. Is evident that people don't want to throw things away, just need to give them an option. (.. would be good if this unhealthy stuff wasn't purchased in the first place!) @bob_councillor @Aliceundo

⁦@AliceParkCG⁩ Saw the tiniest flutter in a corner of the barn roof yesterday. Could see a tiny head - just! Would blue tits nest here, have they been seen before? #timetonest
