This all feels very much Starmers Labour Government 2.0.
An extraordinary attack on free speech from Andy Burnham.

Years of campaigning to get information from B&NES Planning on the impact on transport, retail and ecology in east Bath. So many helped with objections. Thanks to all! People still need help with the cost of living and cheaper food and we recognise that. #Lidl #GreenParty #BathUK

Keir Starmer has been gone for two months now.
Why is his ridiculous attack on free speech and peaceful protest still in place?
Labour. Different singer. Same old tired song.
BREAKING: 94 year old Jewish human rights barrister, Margaret Owen arrested under the Terrorism Act outside @andyburnham’s Labour Party conference.
UK taxpayers are funding these arrests while masked men terrorise the streets in coastal towns.

I, Kevin Rowland (the son of Irish immigrants) and the main songwriter of ‘Come On Eileen,’ am disgusted to learn that Nigel Farage has used our song to make his entrance for his party conference. Myself, and all of Dexys are passionately against Farage’s politics.

The lady that was physically assaulted at @reformparty_uk conference talks about the brutal assault (it is now a police matter)
She says its by far the worst assault she's ever experienced.
She was repeatedly asking for them to stop but they wouldn't listen.

That’s Nigel Farage celebrating a Reform UK plot to break election law - by having a US company secretly pay for three influential political polls that benefitted the party.
Earlier in the investigation, Reform’s Head of Policy James Orr and senior advisor Dan Jukes arranged for a Verbatim reporter to pay for the polls through a US company. Orr and Jukes believed the firm was run by the reporter’s American father.
Mr Farage was filmed by undercover reporters from @Verbatim_Media as part of a year-long investigation that Channel 4 News has thoroughly checked and verified.
This meeting took place in his Clacton constituency in July - when Mr Farage was fighting a by-election he called after separate allegations about his finances.

This isn't normal. While this government is in chaos, its failure to protect people from extreme heat will cost lives.
We need maximum workplace temperatures to protect workers and cool spaces so the vulnerable aren't exposed.
Wet bulb temperatures on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday could exceed >25°C widely.
This is the critical threshold for vulnerable populations (elderly, infants, or individuals with chronic illnesses). It is also the point where anyone performing moderate to heavy physical labor or outdoor sports faces an exceptionally high risk of heat exhaustion and heatstroke.

Everybody was told in 2010-15 that austerity was painful but necessary to improve living standards. And then no improvements came, ever.
