A real pleasure to have @MrChrisFoy deliver a workshop to the Referees in our local community tonight at local grassroots club @AFC_Bolton great to collaborate with @azzamac99 & @AdamFaatima in getting it organised thanks to @winnard16 ⚽️ @bbdflofficials @OfficialBBDFL
Good luck to all the teams participating in the @OfficialBBDFL cup finals this week at bwfc academy and of course a huge good luck to our amazing referees!!!
So we have released our first batch of cup final appointments to our referees this afternoon! Receiving messages like this is why me and the lads do what we do! Sunday girls cup finals will follow very very soon!!! @OfficialBBDFL
For all midweek game referee requests please email us [email protected] and we will be more than happy to accommodate!

On behalf of the ref team we would like to wish all of our members a very merry Christmas! Have the best day ever with your friends and family! 🎉
We, as a league unanimously voted to postpone fixtures this weekend for the safety of our players, coaches and spectators!
We as a league are participating in silent weekend! Let’s all respect our refs, players, coaches and everyone involved and enjoy the game we love!
Spent my morning watching one of our young referees and it was well worth it! Well done Hollie!! @OfficialBBDFL #NoRefNoGame
I believe this would be a step in the right direction to help stop abuse!! Things need to change and ASAP @LancashireFA @Manchester_FA I really hope referees get more support from our football governing bodies otherwise we will have no referees left!!!!!!
Should referees wear body cams to protect them, support them and stop violent behaviour?

@refsupportuk @Daveyref64
I believe so!
It's now time to trial this in grassroots football & I am happy to coordinate this in the BBDFL

We are absolutely disgusted to hear about the incident involving one of our referees, volunteers and friend. There is no place for this in football and I hope the football authorities and police deal with the accordingly! Speedy recovery bradders!

This is not how we wanted to start the season but unfortunately appointments for next weekend are delayed as there is a problem with the full time system which isn’t allowing us to appoint refs🙈😡@OfficialBBDFL
