JAY-Z on Kanye bringing up Beyoncé & Blue while ranting during his Saint Pablo tour. In 2025, he again unprovoked, ranted online about Jay's wife & their kids. He's been distasteful towards Ms. Tina. Ignoring his behavior to push for him joining Jay's Superbowl show is asinine.

The reason there is a sub genre called Christian rap and not one called Islam Rap is because the 5 Percent, Nation of Islam, and Black Orthodox groups were foundational to the formation of Hip Hop itself and reflected the original message of Knowledge of Self and Do For Self.

Frank Lucas said he was taking in $1 million a day selling heroin in Harlem. In 1975 agents raided his house in New Jersey and found more than $584,000 in cash. At the peak, by his own account, he had $52 million stashed in Cayman Islands banks and $300 million in stockpiled heroin. He owned office buildings in Detroit and a cattle ranch in North Carolina. He said he bribed personnel in Vietnam to set up a heroin connection. He hobnobbed with Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, James Brown and Diana Ross, and spent lavishly on cars, clothing, jewelry and entertainment. The raid on his house in Teaneck ended it. He was convicted and sentenced to 70 years in prison. Then he turned informant, and he was released in 1982, after seven years. In 2007 Denzel Washington played him in "American Gangster." In the video below, Lucas talks about what was taken from him: "Two million dollars a month for me. Sometimes two million dollars a week." Then he says: "I got 70 years." He died in New Jersey in 2019, at 88. $1 million a day and out in seven years: a deal or a joke?

Obama: "The guy has become billions of dollars wealthier in office. Nobody disputes this! It's just -- how do you do that when you're supposed to be looking out for you? And the worst part of it not a single Republican in Congress has done anything to stop it."

Instead of demanding WNBA players stand for the National Anthem, maybe those same ppl should be demand that America exemplify the principles the anthem claims to represent and promises it never fulfilled. We can start with freedom and justice for all instead of for a selected few

If you thought MFs were crashing out when those Yankee Stadium numbers came in. They’re gonna jump out of windows when the numbers for these last 5 shows are reported. Yankee Stadium is a baseball stadium. He sold those shows out with 45 thousand people. These London, Paris and Los Angeles shows were in soccer/football stadiums. That’s 65-80k. And every single one of these shows looked like they were completely sold out. Also, all of these shows were advertised as JAŸ-Z being the only performer. So, all this nonsense about special guests is all bullshit. People came out to see and support Jay, the guests were a bonus.

Q-Tip made the "Electric Relaxation" beat in Phife Dawg's grandmother's basement. She'd given him a key. Phife came home, heard Ronnie Foster's "Mystic Brew" drifting up from below and ran downstairs without even saying hi to grandma: “Yo, what the hell is that?!”

Bernie was the guy for me. Chicago’s finest talent. Eddie trolling.
Eddie Murphy Calls Out Jerry Seinfeld for Saying Bernie Mac Was the Best Comedian He’d Ever Seen And Couldn’t Believe He Put Him on Comedy’s Mount Rushmore Jerry Seinfeld: “You’re going to object, but I am a huge fan of Bernie Mac. I love Bernie Mac.” “I told you, I thought Bernie Mac was one of the funniest to me.” Eddie Murphy: “No, no, no. You didn’t say ‘one of.’ You said you thought he was the best that you’d ever seen do it.” “I said, I love Bernie, but the best? If you told anyone else that you thought he was the best, they would go, ‘Really?’” “We were doing our comic Mount Rushmore. We were saying, which comedians would be on Mount Rushmore?” “We were saying, like, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce… and then he goes, ‘Bernie Mac!’ And I’m like, what the fuck?” “And I love Bernie, but on Mount Rushmore? That’s…”

JAY-Z addresses the hate he’s been receiving online recently, on night two at SoFi Stadium: “Y’all gotta be very aware what’s going on in the world, right? People will tell you that nobody was in here tonight, but you got eyes, you can see. People will tell you that the music wasn’t great, but you got ears. [...] Question everything in this world of AI.”
