Henry Nowak. Eighteen years old. We haven't forgotten you.🙏❤️ His family say their world changed twice. The first time was the night they were told Henry had died. The second was when they watched the police video. They've spoken publicly now, on camera. Hearing a mother and father and a sister explain what it is to lose their son and brother is utterly heartbreaking. Watch it and try not to cry. You won't manage it. Henry was the first in his family to go to university. On the 3rd of December last year he walked home from a night out. Five stab wounds. He died on the pavement in Portswood. And as he lay there telling officers he'd been stabbed and couldn't breathe, he was handcuffed and arrested because his killer had lied and told police Henry had racially abused him. Then the police manipulated his family. They didn't just let Henry down. They enabled his killers. Here's what I want to know. The officers who didn't believe him, who didn't carry out their duty of care, are they still serving police officers? Surely they should be prosecuted for dereliction of duty. A boy was dying in front of them and telling them so, and they didn't listen. Vickrum Digwa got life with a minimum of 21 years. His mother was convicted of helping him. There must be a full and transparent investigation into Hampshire Police and it needs to be made public. No more cover-ups. They must be held accountable.
