Boeren verdwijnen niet door nieuw en beter #landbouwbeleid. Er komen juist boeren bij. Fosfaatplafond en #stikstof-problemen verdwijnen. Boerzijn wordt weer leuk en voedsel gezond, waterkwaliteit op peil.

After Elon Musk posted on X saying he had throttled Ukraine’s use of Starlink after it was used for offensive attacks, House Armed Services Committee member Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) says the billionaire’s ability to wield that power is “beyond disturbing to me.”
“It cannot and should not be the case that a tech oligarch, a private citizen, who has that much control over our national security, who is unaccountable, who is unelected, with zero transparency, is making life and death decisions on the battlefield in systems that our service members and our partners and allies rely upon,” he adds.

Our conversation with the American side in Oslo was accompanied by three challenges. These were the shortage of air defense, restrictions on Starlink/Starshield, and restrictions on intelligence sharing from the United States of America. I am grateful to the Americans and our team that two of these issues – intelligence and Starlink/Starshield – have been resolved as of today.
The issue of air defense remains. There is progress on missiles for Patriot systems, but things are moving very slowly. More slowly than Russian missiles fly. You cannot say, “Yes, we will give the missiles to you,” and then not deliver them for a month or two. It simply does not work that way.

According to The Economist:
"It appears to have come from a small circle around the president, Mr Musk and Steve Witkoff, the special envoy to Russia. Reports suggest Mr Musk wanted to punish Ukraine for striking Russian refineries. One official says he contacted the White House only after imposing the restrictions."
If true, this suggests Elon Musk imposed the terminal-speed restrictions unilaterally, before notifying the White House.
Congress must urgently investigate whether Musk acted without government authorization. It is unacceptable for a private citizen to exercise unilateral control over a vital military capability. Starshield is a defense system, and decisions to restrict its operational capabilities should rest with the appropriate government authorities, not the CEO of a private contractor.
This should alarm everyone.

President Trump and Elon Musk have slowed down the critical Starlink satellite connection so that Ukrainians are more vulnerable to Russian attacks-- even further indication that Trump wants Putin to win this war.
