Following our design track, we were joined by Miriam Lekunga Vagansi for an eye-opening session on Motion Design.
We often focus on the functional build, but as Miriam demonstrated, motion design is the secret ingredient that turns a “good” product into an unforgettable brand
The attendees were truly impressed by how much attention and engagement can be captured just by adding meaningful movement to an interface. In a crowded digital space, knowing how to make your solution stand out is no longer optional, it’s essential.

We kicked off Day 2 with an insightful session from @aminjefferson on “Building a Career in Graphic Design.”
While design is often seen as a separate discipline, this session was a game changer for our participants.
Sir Jefferson shared insider strategies from industry pros that helped our participants better understand how to position and refine the UI of their software. It’s not just about making things look good, it’s about creating an intuitive, professional experience for the end user.

Next We shifted gears with Abongwa Bornalais, who walked us through the essentials of “Lean Quality Assurance” for software products.
Many developers skip testing in the rush to launch, but today was an eye-opener for many of our participants. Mr Abongwa provided practical, low-overhead strategies to ensure code reliability without slowing down the development cycle.
The level of engagement from the attendees was impressive, as many realized how much room there is to refine their testing processes. A huge thank you to Abongwa for adding this critical layer of expertise to the challenge!
