New: The US and Russia are discussing bringing American oil majors back to Russia, reviving energy exports to Europe via the Druzhba pipeline and a host of other business deals as Washington seeks to entice Putin to end the war in Ukraine. as.ft.com/r/2349d7fb-66a0-43…

President Zelenskyy thanks President Trump @POTUS and the US State Department @SecRubio for restoring Starlink and Starshield operations to pre-restriction speeds.
@ZelenskyyUa
He says the restoration of the speed began overnight.
This is good news.
The American people should be rooting for Ukraine to win this war against Vladimir Putin, who has killed more white, Christian, European men and women than Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the now deceased leader of ISIS.
Putin is worse than ISIS.
The math doesn’t lie.
The most important thing today is that Starlink and Starshield operations have been restored to the speeds we had before the restrictions. The speeds are now where they need to be. The restoration began overnight, and by this morning, speeds were already sufficient. This matters: for our frontline logistics, for defending Ukraine against jet-powered “shaheds.”
I thank all Americans and all our partners who took this seriously and truly helped – members of Congress, senators, all the media, the State Department, and the President. Protecting lives matters.
Trump and Musk: Want to stop the killing? Demand your f•cking buddy Vladimir Putin end this war. He started it. He can end it. Want sympathy for Russian conscripts? Tell him to bring them home. We’re sick of you pointing the finger in the wrong f•cking direction.
Replying to @skscartoon
The endless slaughter of Ukrainian and Russians must stop.
We should some sympathy for the poor Russian conscripts too. Those kids have no choice but to fight and die in drone strikes.
Her name was Angelina. She had a future. Now we owe her more than outrage. Call Congress: 202-224-3121. Demand every senator and representative act to protect Ukraine’s children. Ring those phones like never before. Human lives cannot wait for an election. #Ukraine
Ukraine has given us something you and your sycophants will never understand: a reminder of what freedom means and what it costs to defend it. They are paying that price in blood while you dismiss their sacrifice as nothing. When we end up running for bomb shelters ourselves, history will remember who fought to stop this and who helped Putin get there. @kilmeade
Republicans still have time to change course. Push this administration to enforce sanctions on Russia. Defend American security. Voters need a reason to trust your leadership before the midterms. Give them one.
Elon, Putin is sending those young men to die in a war he started. Want the bloodshed to stop? Tell him to withdraw. If Russia stops and leaves, the war ends. If Ukraine stops defending itself, it gets consumed. Stop equating the invader with the invaded.

Re open starlink. Does anyone remember who the good guys are? nytimes.com/2026/10/14/world…
Kyiv. One killed. Thirteen injured, four seriously.
Putin’s answer to deals and praise: another ballistic strike.
Enough bullsh*t. Relentless economic pressure. NOW.
Kyiv, two hours ago. A ballistic missile strike.
I suppose we should be grateful Putin and Ru$$ia missed the friggin’ McDonald’s. Such an American icon.
Trump just thanked Putin for the diesel deal. Maybe he can thank him for sparing the golden arches, too. #ukraine
Let me answer, Margaret. Yes, it’s a mockery. Congress passes sanctions to put relentless economic pressure on Rυssia, then the president turns around and buys its oil? A complete about-face that undermines the very law he just signed. Barrasso’s dodge only made the contradiction more obvious.

NEW!! As Trump announced an energy ceasefire, two senior Ukrainian officials tell me Kyiv was hearing the statement for the first time -- and wondered “if Putin knows it”
Minutes later, a Russian UAV strike hit Kyiv’s Thermal Power Plant-6, knocking out 200 MW and disrupting water supplies across the city
💯 And this was already in motion. MINERVA ZEN, reportedly carrying Rússian diesel and bound for North Carolina, left St. Petersburg on September 22. Trump announced his deal with Pútin on October 9. The fuel was already at sea for weeks.

GOP Senator Murkowski: “We can discuss Russia’s return to global energy markets once the war is over, but in the meantime, we need to cut off everything fueling it.”
A few weeks ago, Congress overwhelmingly passed legislation to increase sanctions and tariffs on Russia. The President should be using those authorities instead of allowing Russia to export diesel, rake in revenues, and continue its catastrophic war in Ukraine. We can discuss Russia’s return to global energy markets once the war is over, but in the meantime, we need to cut off everything fueling it.

We’re all laughing. I’m laughing too. But look how far AI has come in just one year. Now imagine this interview a year from today. We may be laughing at the humans because they’re the only ones still glitching. That’s what scares me. The pace.

Head down. Keep working. The 262 representatives and 86 senators who voted yes must now ensure the White House fully implements the sanctions and tariffs against Russia and those financing its war machine. That is peace through strength. ptsinstitute.us

In his first public appearance since leaving the Trump administration, former Sec. of the Army Dan Driscoll visited Kyiv, Ukraine. He warned of “an inflection point in warfare,” arguing that the world’s largest militaries “have not adopted the speed and the innovation that they need.” @yes_ukraine @PinchukFund
