Not here to defend Adem Bona, but there's too much outcry about Sixers' backup center spot. The problem is the offense. Despite 2nd-best TO rate, Philly is 28th in o-rtg, 28th in eFG, 27th in halfcourt offense, 27th in FG at rim, and 25th in 3pt%. That's not Adem Bona

The Sixers may need to upgrade the backup center spot at some point. I'm just skeptical that Adem Bona is a legitimate culprit for why the team's offense completely falls apart whenever Embiid leaves the game (especially since Bona lineups scored fine last year)

Philly can't trade Hukporti and Simons for Jalen Smith until mid-December anyway

⚡️ Mayor Zohran Mamdani's NYPD is poised to sign a three-year, $750,500 no-bid contract with Israeli surveillance firm Cognyte for FalcoNet, an AI-driven device that mimics a cell tower to track phones and can be mounted on police cars and drones or hidden in a backpack, the New York Daily News reported. Cognyte won a tender to sell intercept spyware to Myanmar's state telecom weeks before the 2021 military coup, Reuters previously reported. Meta banned the firm the same year, saying its customers used fake accounts to target journalists and politicians in Kenya, Mexico and Indonesia. The firm is part of an Israeli surveillance industry that grew big as a result of the military's monitoring of Palestinians, whose phone calls Israel's Unit 8200 has intercepted and stored by the millions, including to carry out genocide in Gaza and enforce a brutal illegal occupation in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

I don't know if anyone has any insight on this, but the NBA removing the ability to view the clip of each box score stat on their website is such a bummer. Hope this isn't perminent.
Did the NBA just quietly kill off posting their stats videos?

Since the dawn of time, non-shooters go in the dunker spot
I don't like this right here... Bam gets the post up but Giannis decides to walk in the paint which gives Bam 0 space to work with. We gotta be smarter man.

Not saying this is good spacing or good offense, but if Bam posts up that’s where Giannis is supposed to be

I dislike when fans boo individual players on the home team but booing the collective is 100% fine
"First home game, and I think those fans that boo us, they don't need to come anymore." "If you guys follow us, you know that we never quit." Nikola Jokic with a response to the fans that were booing the team tonight:

Adem Bona hasn’t been good but Sixers broke even with him on the floor last year. Feels like he’s suffering from the lack of rebounding at PF, maybe some minutes with Walker (and eventually Barlow) would help

Worth noting that Maxey/Simons/Bona lineups have an eFG of 29.7% and have shot under 30% from 3—both of which have to be written off as bad luck at this point in the season
