Remarkable statistic:
Prior to Western Michigan, college football teams were 110,352 - 0 when leading after the end of regulation, dating back to 1869.
Slowly recovering enough to think about it again. I’m still confused about the final drive.
After Bear’s keeper to get us out of the endzone, why didn’t BYU call timeout and then run a 2 min drill style offense?
They let the clock run after 1st down. Why? My best guess is that BYU wanted to limit how much time UCF would have, if they end up punting.
But then we ran it up the middle on 2nd and long, with a minute left. Weird, but okay, they’re just playing for overtime and are going to let the clock go down.
But then BYU called timeout? So now the clock is stopped and we get one more play. 3rd and long. Surely a pass play!
But BYU runs again? UCF calls the obvious timeout and BYU punts from the endzone with a minute left.
I’ve never been a football coach. Can anyone explain what the objective was?
But shouldn’t the clock have kept running when they recovered the blocked kick?
Clock would only stop on an incomplete pass or a 1st down. Why did it require a 10 second runoff for the game to be over?
One thing is clear— BYU can’t give UCF the ball at the end of the game with a chance to win.
Unlike last week, the BYU defense has no answers and is unable to stop UCF in any situation
Does Tech losing help BYU because:
-Cincy is better as an opponent
-Opens up the CCG to BYU with a loss

Walked my kids around campus today.
We didn’t see any football players. Except one. Bear Bachmeier. He looked focused. Healthy. Happy.
Cougs by 20.
Hey BYU twitter, please don’t stop sharing Notre Dame content. I cant get enough.
I want to see everything. Just keep pumping it out. I don’t even care what you might have to noticed, I want to see it
If you don’t know, you should know:
BYU’s fanbase is absolutely enormous. Whatever you think it is, multiply it by 5. The sky is the limit for the Cougs in all sports if they continue to get the resources.

“ND lost their star edge on the first play.”
No doubt. BYU was also without 2025 Big12 offensive player of the year (RB1) AND RB2. Also, wasn’t BYU playing without a of the best OL?
