π¨#BREAKING: Ron DeSantis just TORE INTO Republicans in Congress after last nightβs midterm wipeout, saying GOP voters STAYED HOME because Republicans in the House and Senate did NOTHING with their power...
βWhy havenβt we done immigration? Shut off H-1B visas? Why havenβt we codified Trumpβs immigration executive orders?
Why haven't we stripped jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases?
There's so many things that could've been done.
They didn't even attempt it, Laura.
They're gonna say, "Oh, if only we needed 50 votes, we would've done it."
You don't have 50 votes for doing conservative things. You've never shown that you'll do conservative things EVEN WITH 50 votes!!!
So I hear you. I'd love to see all this great stuff being done.
I just never saw an indication that they did it.
This midterm, no question, was a rebuke of the president and the Congress by Democrats, Independents, and some, some Republicans that crossed over.
But a lot of our voters who stayed home, they stayed home because they were frustrated with the lack of productivity from Republicans in the House and Senate.
Heβs calling the night βclose to an EXTINCTION-LEVEL EVENT for Republicans.β

So let's ask a few simple questions. If bluest states in America - California, NY, NJ, CT, Rhode Island, Mass, Illinois, Maryland, DC, Oregon, Washington- suddenly ALL turned RED...would it seem realistic? If every county in Oregon went red, would anyone believe it?
If Mass voted red by 1 million votes, would media question it?
If NYC went red would anyone accept it was "poor candidates, bad president, wrong war, high prices?" Really?
What if LA, San Francisco, Palo Alto and Napa all went red?
What if Muslim communities went all red? Dearborn? Detroit? How about inner city Baltimore? Would Democrats believe it wasn't fraud? The media would not question?
White Republicans voting for communists & radical Muslims to punish Trump is like a sudden shift by every black voter in NYC, LA, Detroit, Baltimore & Chicago voting red. You'd believe that?
Sorry, what happened Tuesday night is not possible. Texas? Kansas? Mississippi? Ohio? All of them changed everything 2 years after a Trump landslide because of a war with 20 US deaths? More Americans are shot on a Saturday in Chicago!
Trump secured the border and deported 3 million illegals. Result? Lowest murder & crime rates in 100 years.
High Prices? High gas? Much higher prices under Biden. Higher gas prices under Biden w/out a war or tariffs.
Bad economy? Obama produced worst economy since Great Depression. Businesses closed by millions, half of Vegas boarded up, all-time record Americans on welfare, food stamps & disability. But he won re-election.
In Michigan white Republicans voted for a Muslim Brotherhood radical who wants Sharia Law to protest high prices caused 90% by Biden?
Red rural districts in Texas's voted for an effeminate radical weirdo who believes "God is non-binary?" Gave him more votes in midterm election than Kamala in Presidential year. Really?
Something smells rotten. This is "Twilight Zone." This is not possible. Someone thinks we're all idiots.
President Trump, are you listening? We are being played.

Tbh I'm glad the Republican party can no longer gaslight themselves into pretending they're doing a good job.
They're now going to have to admit that they've made horrendous decisions that have only made the lives of everyday Americans worse.
Iran war, horrific.
Mass deporations, where are they?
Not cancelling the H-1B program, a mistake.
Inflation, wtf.
Food and gas prices, high.
National debt, unfathomable.
Housing and affordability crisis, real.

A 94 year old woman forced to work because her social security income is $12,704 a year but her property tax is $19,000.
Bextel says the 94 year old, who lives in Jackson, bought her house for $40,000 in 1960. It now sits on a double lot worth $4.5 million and is falling down around her.
"At 94 years old, she's still working." Bextel says she took a job answering phones at an acupuncture clinic, and that scrapping property tax is the thing she most wants to do as governor.

Democrats howled when we terminated 760,000 phantom enrollments from Obamacare.
They claimed we were taking care away from real people. Well, fewer than 1 in 10,000 of those canceled enrollments has led to a phone call or outreach from a real person.

VEGAS WANTS TO KNOW WHERE EVERYBODY WENT. I HAVE THE RECEIPT FROM MY LAST BUFFET.
Downtown Las Vegas is looking a little lonely. The numbers back it up. Visitation was down 4.3% in August. Passengers through Harry Reid down 9%. Downtown gaming win down 3%. They're cutting room rates and the rooms still aren't filling.
And somewhere in a corporate office on the Strip, a man in a $4,000 suit is asking how this could possibly happen.
Sir. Let me help.
Vegas used to be the deal. Sinatra, Dean and Sammy at the Sands. A 99-cent shrimp cocktail downtown at the Golden Gate. Cheap rooms, cheap buffets, loose slots, free drinks if you sat down at a table. They knew you'd lose money at the tables, so they made everything else feel like a steal. That was the whole business model. And it worked for fifty years.
Then the MBAs showed up. (I'm allowed to say that. I have one.)
Room rates went up. Then they added a resort fee. Fifty bucks a night for a pool you won't use and Wi-Fi that drops every time you open your laptop. Parking that used to be free? Now it's not. Blackjack used to pay 3:2. Now a lot of tables pay 6:5, which is a polite way of saying they shaved your winnings and hoped you wouldn't do the math. And the buffet. The buffet used to be the cheapest meal in America. Now the fancy ones on the Strip run close to $90 a person on a weekend, and the crab legs still taste like the freezer.
Who thought that money train would run forever? You squeezed the golden goose until it filed for divorce.
Vegas casino bosses have pulled off something I didn't think was possible. They made McDonald's leadership look like value heroes. At least the Big Mac doesn't come with a resort fee.
I still end up in Vegas once a year for work. I didn't say I like it.
I hate the room rates. I don't eat on the Strip. Get in an Uber, go to Spring Mountain Road, and eat your way through Chinatown. Some of the best Asian food in the country is sitting in strip malls a mile from the casinos, at a third of the price. The locals know. Now you do too.
And the desert is still a desert. It's hot, it's dry, my hair hates it, and the whole place still looks like a showgirl's jewelry box exploded.
There's exactly one thing on the Strip I'd fight you for.
The Peppermill. Neon, mirrors, velvet booths, plates the size of hubcaps and a drink so big it needs two straws and a designated driver. I go every single year. I order too much, I share it with my coworkers or my customers, and we pass that giant drink around like it's 1978.
That's my Vegas.
You can keep the rest of it.
