Sadly Katie didn't even make it to Saturday so SNL couldn't parody her.
But Canada did.
And it's fantastic.

Cristina Belda, from Argus Media, spoke to the Financial Times about the US Department of Defense’s $1bn critical minerals stockpiling push — a move aimed at reducing reliance on Chinese supply chains.
📈 Cristina noted:
“Market participants have been taken aback by the volumes requested by the DLA across several metals. Many consider the quantities to be unrealistic, especially within the proposed five-year timeframe.”
The article explores how the Pentagon’s accelerated procurement plans — including large volumes of antimony, cobalt, tantalum, and scandium — are reshaping global supply dynamics.

Israel bombed a hospital.
Rescue workers and reporters rushed to recover the dead and the wounded.
Israel bombed the hospital again. Live on TV.
Read that again.
Our government’s legacy will be its complicity in crimes against humanity. End all arms sales to Israel, now.

Pope Francis was the rare leader who made us want to be better people. In his humility and his gestures at once simple and profound – embracing the sick, ministering to the homeless, washing the feet of young prisoners – he shook us out of our complacency and reminded us that we are all bound by moral obligations to God and one another.
Today, Michelle and I mourn with everyone around the world – Catholic and non-Catholic alike – who drew strength and inspiration from the Pope’s example. May we continue to heed his call to “never remain on the sidelines of this march of living hope.”
