Nationalists thought their cult leader could break the law and that nothing would happen whatsoever, and that everyone would carry on as normal.
Thankfully, civilised society disagrees.

Never seen this but makes perfect sense.
People with ADHD are now often prescribed with stimulants. Sounds counter intuitive but research proves stimulants stop the constant chatter in the ADHD brain.
Fascinating.
"Why did you ever need cocaine? You're as fast without it as any addict," Ray Martin asked.
Robin Williams paused, his hyperactive mask slipping into a quiet reality.
"It allowed me not to talk," Williams confessed. "It was like reverse medication. It just shuts you down so you don't have to talk to people."
The world assumed he used drugs to fuel his legendary speed. The heartbreaking truth was the opposite: his mind ran at such a brutal pace that he used a deadly substance just to force his own brain to shut up.
"How vividly can you remember falling into the trap?"
"I don't," Williams admitted. "There’s a thing called a blackout. It's your conscience going into a witness protection program saying: 'I'm checking out. I'm leaving the body on, but we're not going to remember anything.'"
Enduring reality as Robin Williams was simply too painful to bear while fully conscious.
"And John Belushi's death... was that a shock?"
"Totally. But more importantly, my son," Williams said softly. "I didn't want to be coked up going, 'Hey, dad loves you.' I stopped because I realized you have a responsibility bigger than yourself."
For a moment, love pulled him back from the edge. But years later, when the noise inside his mind became deafening, Robin Williams took his own life.
We live in a culture that treats hyper-energetic creators as entertainment machines, demanding they stay turned on for our amusement.
Robin Williams exposed the quiet tragedy behind the applause.
The loudest person in the room is often fighting the most exhausting internal war. Real empathy isn't demanding someone keep performing for you - it's noticing when their soul is trying to check out, even while they make you laugh.

Anyone heading to the Den tomorrow please do take them something if you can. Near the blue bus and the memorial garden at CBL. And note the panel - it’s brave to put that out there and as they said to me recently if everyone going to the game gave them £1…Great community service

Andy: “Writing this was kind of an exercise in writing about somebody else rather than about ourselves. The lyrics are about a disgraced, corrupt politician who sells his story to the papers and then buggers off.”
