A year ago, Walker was in my 3rd grade class. Now, he comes in to help at the end of the day twice a week.

We have a new student on Monday.
We decided to welcome her with positive notes all over her desk.

👯Twin Day? or Mr. Pierce Day?! @SunflowerSMSD custodian, Mr. Pierce, let students borrow his work shirts so they could twin with him! These relationships are invaluable and we're so grateful to teammates like Mr. Pierce who bring our schools together! #YouBelong | #ALLinSMSD
The second graders have been learning the value of each coin and how to count up. They saved up to adopt a "Desk Pet" and a home. They each counted their money to purchase the pet.
Now, to save for food.
