Busy week last week.
Excluding all other taxes we will pay almost £2m in VAT on last weeks sales alone.
Hospitality helps power the economy & pay for the public services we all value so why are @RachelReevesMP & @UKLabour seemingly so hellbent on destroying our sector?

Utility bills across Hospitality have been one of the main reasons for many closures and job losses this year.
If this doesn’t make you angry, I don’t know what will.

**ALARM BELLS** should really be ringing, not because businesses are failing, but because small, successful, high income, high tax paying, high employment businesses are failing at most prosperous time of year.

Tens of billions of taxpayers money vs tens of billions of EXTRA profit for the privately owned energy companies. How can this be right?
The govt would rather saddle future generations with unsustainable levels of debt than lock horns with the likes of BP. Energy is now a weapon.

Phone chat with @Sacha_Lord ,our industry needs as many voices as it can get right now. If you’re a Hospitality or SME business owner/worker, speak out.
We need an Emergency VAT cut, Business rates holiday & some sort of upper cap on Energy tariffs.
MILLIONS of jobs are at risk.

Feeling more positive this morning. The big guns in hospitality are finally waking up and rallying Gov, we are starting to get large scale media coverage. I hope the government act fast enough to save the small businesses that don’t have the cash reserves to wait. #NOTJUSTAPUB – at Cheltenham, England
