I saw her original post (wala na ngayon).. it also gave a bad taste in my mouth when I saw it but the caption is—“feeling happy and sad at the same time”—so aware naman din naman sila sa impact ng pagbaba ng peso.
The content idea is para isabay sa trend while trending pa yung music. But yeah, bad move for Shara to choose to insert the dollar vs peso news there. It really comes off they were all celebrating because they’re freelancers/VAs earning in USD.
Tbh, I am earning in USD. I know the implications when the peso dives. But di din naman ako ipokrita to not know that I benefit from it personally and I guess that’s why there’s also joy. I have more sobra sa budgeted USD ko for my loan payments to the point I can actually set aside some money for savings.
May judgment din ako sa mga all-in yung celebration and pinapublic pa. But the more I age in this country, the more I just focus on things that I CAN CONTROL. 🤷♀️
Lol I really was looking forward to watch #ALoveOtherThanYours because I myself is in a 10-year long relationship..
It was promising in the beginning… you know, one that makes you almost forget about the title literally being about somebody else’s love than the male and female leads LOL
But some of the happenings just don’t make sense to me anymore. So I dropped it early. 😂
LOL.. not the challenge system being put to waste because of bad camera quality and angles.
What the heck PVL?! Ilang millions pa ba kailangan niyo to make the upgrade happen?
Kailangan na nga imanage ng athletes yung emotions nila toward the game, kailangan din pala imanage yung emotions nila for the technical side.
It was unfortunate for Chocomucho and Farm Fresh to suffer from it given how tight the match was. 😮💨
#PVL2026
Since we’re sharing BPO experiences in the QRTs, here’s mine:
I was the top trainee in our batch. Sales and upselling came naturally to me, and TLs were already pitching to have me on their teams because they knew I’d perform well in ops.
But a day before our official endorsement to the floor, I had severe dysmenorrhea on top of my usual heavy bleeding. I was sweating and barely managing the pain while taking calls, so I asked to visit the clinic and possibly go home.
Apparently, severe menstrual pain wasn’t a valid enough reason to be sent home. The painkillers didn’t help either.
When I returned to my station, my trainer was smirking because he already knew I wasn’t getting sent home. I was on the verge of crying when he told me:
“Okay lang ’yan! Secured ko na top devices mo bukas. Sa top-performing team din kita ilalagay.”
As if that somehow made the pain go away. 😭
I finished my shift but went AWOL the next day.
And yes, I left them a little souvenir: A HUGE BLOODSTAIN ON MY CHAIR. Because when I said I bleed heavily, I wasn’t exaggerating. 🤷♀️
I remember working at a BPO company tapoa yung TL ko sinigawan ako sa production floor.
I went to the clinic kasi di na kaya yung sakit ng ulo ko. Binigyan ako meds and pinayagan na gamitin na agad yung lunch break kong 1 oras para matulog.
Pagbalik ko sabi nung TL
"KUNG HINDI KA FIT TO WORK MAGRESIGN KA NA!"
As in sigaw yan ha? Ayon! Nagfile ako resignation online. Iniwan work station ko at umuwi.
It’s indeed a disheartening loss, but this is one of those matches that makes you set aside all doubts about what Alex Eala is capable of when she finds her rhythm and plays at this level.
I’m just so proud to see her find her footing again. There’s obviously still a lot of room for improvement esp in the service department, but she played some great tennis today. One that makes you look forward for more.
See you at your next tournament, Alex! 💗
