The only person I’ve seen wearing a poppy at this awards ceremony. For that alone, you deserve the award. Good luck, H! 👏🌺

Everyone who was killed on 9/11 was a hero!
I wrote this book a few years after my mother was killed on 9/11 helping a friend. Yesterday I was watching Trump conduct a rally from Michigan and he had Todd Beamer's father make a speech there. It made me think how Todd like so many others were going about their normal days not realizing that they were being thrown into history. Todd and those on Flight 93 committed great acts of heroism and thousands of others like my mother were unsung heroes who acted equally valiantly. We must remember all of them that day because people are forgetting so easily when they are told they can keep money in their pockets! I wrote the book for such a time as this and if you would like to purchase a copy please send me a DM

You’re a Jew hating scumbag. You’ve been elected to represent your Scottish constituents you silly cow. Keep your nose out of stuff you have nothing to do with and you have no understanding of. Absolute halfwit of a woman.

I have undertaken this project to put a face to 9/11 by posting a photo of everyone killed that day. If after everything that happened you can vote for the ideology that brought it about it's as if you are killing them yourself! Pictured below was 63 year old Jerry Borg who worked as an accountant in an office on nearby Maiden Lane. While being evacuated after the implosions of the towers he inhaled toxic dust and debris walking home to his apartment in Midtown Manhattan thereafter contracting a severe lung disease which eventually killed him in December 2010. In addition to working as an accountant he played bit parts in movies and was also a small time inventor. To forget even a single one of these people is a blasphemy!

💔 IN MEMORY OF JESSE ADAMS — A TRUE HERO FOR ANIMALS 💔
It is with enormous sadness that we have learned of the tragic death of Jesse Adams, founder of RainCoast Dog Rescue Society in Canada, who lost his life while carrying out an animal rescue mission in one of the most dangerous areas of Ukraine.
Jesse dedicated his life to saving animals, even when it meant putting his own life at risk.
We first came to know Jesse in 2021, when Afghanistan fell to the Taliban. Jesse and RainCoast were among the extraordinary organisations that came together to assist KSAR with the evacuation of 285 cats and dogs, helping many find loving forever homes.
Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Jesse travelled to the border to help fleeing families and their pets, providing veterinary care, supplies and assistance getting animals to safety.
He returned repeatedly, undertaking increasingly dangerous missions.
Most recently, Jesse worked alongside Animal Rescue Kharkiv, rescuing hundreds of animals from devastated frontline communities under constant threat from drones, missiles and artillery.
These were extraordinary acts of compassion and courage in the face of unimaginable danger.
Jesse knew the risks. He knew every mission could be his last. Yet he continued because he believed animals caught in conflict deserved protection just as much as those living in peace.
Those of us working in animal rescue in conflict zones understand and accept these risks. But few possess the courage to repeatedly travel towards danger when everyone else is trying to escape it.
Jesse was one of those very special people.
His death is a devastating loss to his family, friends, RainCoast and the international animal rescue community.
Our hearts go out to everyone who knew and loved him, particularly the Ukrainian rescuers who worked alongside him.
His legacy lives on in every animal he saved and every rescuer he inspired.
Rest in peace, Jesse. The world has lost an extraordinary human being, and the animals have lost a true champion. 🐾💔
With love and deepest respect,
Louise and everyone at War Paws
