Whoa 👀 I knew it was bad, but I didn't know it was that bad... Zero interceptions and five touchdowns given up 😬 He leads the league in TDs given up. Ouch 😥 On a contract year too...

Tyrique Stevenson allowed a 126 passer rating when targeted and 82 yards and 2 TDs. Not good. But I honestly can’t blame him on this one. Massive push off by Cooper Kupp. #DaBears #Bears

Garrett Bradbury hasn’t been awful and brings a veteran presence to the center position making calls. Every week though there are a number of snaps that are concerning. For the season he’s graded 27th out of 32 centers in pass blocking grade per PFF. #DaBears #Bears

Something to watch for this morning is a few bears injuries… Kentavius Street - knee Grady Jarrett - groin Theo Benedet - unofficial, but @NicholasMoreano said he heard Theo say “separated shoulder” in locker room. Good reporting. Bears play the Bucs on Sunday night before their bye week.

One observation from the Bears' locker room. I saw Theo Benedet leave with a Bears staff member before the media was allowed into the locker room. When he came back, he sat at his locker, looking disappointed. As I was getting ready to record an interview, I heard him say separated shoulder. Benedet finished the game against the Seahawks, but this is something to monitor in the next few days and also on a short week with the Bears hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football.

Ben Johnson is now 8-1 ATS in primetime as coach of the Bears -- Chicago has covered 8 straight.. As HC of Bears & OC Lions, Ben is 19-4-1 ATS in night games. Last 30 yrs, only 2 HC have started 8-1 ATS or better in primetime -- Ben Johnson & Andy Reid.

Simmons’ snap count probably didn’t quite reach it tonight just arriving mid-week in a brand new defense. But I’m sure glad he typically plays 87% of snaps once he gets going. What a MONSTER of the MIDWAY 🔥

And that is why we can’t come close to winning a Super Bowl. We have no corners.

This is how to play star receivers. Get up in their grill jam them and if you still want to bracket you can apex the overhang behind them. The days of just lining up 7-9 yards off is played out.

Thought Joel Klatt (@joelklatt) had an interesting take on the Josh Hoover injury. Worth a listen as IU tries to figure out how to move forward in it’s QB room. #iufb
