Oh i could literally write a thesis on this, the symbolism of letting go of her trauma...also her losing both her dagger and daedalus's laptop, 2 things from 2 men she idolized, both an integral part of her life, and yet she stays alive in tartarus just through her own intellect

The short story of demigods and magicians from Annabeth's pov also does a great job at highlighting her bond with her dagger...i loved that story so much

I should've read demigods & magicians sooner because the 2nd story,which is from Annabeth's point of view, is such a great symbolism of overcoming the trauma of the "luke" of it all and how despite how he tainted her life not everything from her past has to be taken away from her
