Under this government, Ontario has become the second most expensive place on earth to build subways on a per-km basis ... and the public is not allowed to see itemized bills that might clue us in on where the money is going. Literally, 10s of billions are unaccounted for.
NEW TODAY: The Ford government plans to spend billions more this year — but not on sectors that say they desperately need it, like health care and education.
Ontario’s fall economic statement sets aside $3.8 billion in a contingency fund, more than double what was budgeted in March, to provide "fiscal flexibility" amid ongoing economic uncertainty.
The province is also projecting a $16.9 billion deficit, and has pushed back its timeline to balance the books.

With ongoing RN layoffs in Ontario, we’re seeing situations where ONE nurse is caring for TEN patients in acute care. It should be one nurse to four patients. This is not sustainable for nurses or patients. Nurses are bearing the brunt of these cuts, but patients pay the price too. We need safe staffing, not more pressure on nurses to do more with less. Are we really going to keep watching this happen and do nothing? #onpoli

Billions, and billions, and billions are unaccounted for...
Ontario is half a trillion in debt, interest payment is the 3rd largest line in the provincial budget now.
The goal is tanking it, making the province insolvent, so there are no more government services. Only private.
Again, we easily pay enough to have top level infrastructure, healthcare, cheap or affordable post-secondary education but we elect governments who burn the money and we refuse to hold them accountable.
