At Aviern, we are making unmanned cargo airplanes for autonomous airports. The US has 5,000 public-use airports, and we will fly freight autonomously to every single one of them.

A ‘hello world’ milestone for Project Suncatcher 🚀 After launching our prototype satellite a few weeks ago, we’ve now successfully sent a command up to orbit, booted up the TPU, ran the prompt, and received our first complete response back on earth - a haiku!

Replying to @Walmart
@Walmart has spent more than 60 years helping Americans save money and live better. We built Base to do the same for home energy. Today, Walmart and Base announced a strategic agreement and investment in Base. Starting Monday, Base’s energy products will be available at participating Walmart and Sam’s Club locations. corporate.walmart.com/news/2…

Cleo Abram (15M followers across all platforms) just released a new video about @neuralink. She visited the company's Austin HQ. "This is Neuralink’s Next-Gen R1 surgical robot. Its main job is to put a computer chip into people's brains, and this is the first time they're unveiling it." youtube.com/watch?v=Vna0hkq7…

Electric air taxis are arriving in Florida. Today our aircraft flew from St. Petersburg to Tampa International Airport, retracing the first commercial flight in history, flown in 1914. It opens a week of piloted eVTOL flights in partnership with @MyFDOT across the first hubs of Florida's Aerial Highway Network: Tampa Bay, Orlando International and Kennedy Space Center. 🧵 (1/5)

The joint venture between @SpaceX & @Tesla $3B Advanced Technology Chip Fab facility is really making a lot of progress now, with significant portions of the vertical assembly stacking up on the highly reinforced foundation. This facility now has several huge steel trusses installed, spanning from the perimeter steel boxed frames to the center spine steel columns. More of these heavy trusses were being assembled nearby by cranes & crews, some of which taking advantage of the partially relocated E WOW Yard to the new yard on the W side near Tesla Rd. Geopier equipment & crews continue work on the W side of the grade beam, while more steel has been delivered to the site. The S end slab concrete slab is nearly fully poured now, while the surrounding area is being cleared and graded. As a reminder, this is the R&D facility that will support the operations of the much larger Terafab being constructed in Grimes County, about 2 hours drive from Giga Texas.

The Terafab project is going well
STRONG SIGNAL 🚨 Terafab is moving forward at lightning speed because the engineers themselves have the authority to make decisions 🔥 According to Korea’s The Elec, a Korean supplier executive said that even questions sent during the early morning hours in the US get answered within 30 minutes to an hour. In his view, working with Terafab is completely different from dealing with conventional semiconductor customers. An executive at an overseas equipment maker went even further: “I’ve never seen this level of execution speed in the semiconductor industry.” Building a fab involves countless questions like these, across every tool and material that goes into it. When each one gets a fast answer, the time saved keeps compounding, and that could add up to a serious head start before a single wafer is even processed. The chip industry spent decades perfecting how a fab should run. Terafab is being built by engineers who answer a supplier’s question before the US is even awake and are trusted to decide on the spot, and that may turn out to be the most disruptive process change of all.
