Last night @SondheimFriends marked a personal landmark. Like Sweeney's right arm my #Sondheim journey is complete. I've seen all of the major works! It was lovely to see Julia McKenzie in the foyer too, as it all started with Follies for me. Onward then to the next revival 🙏🏻
Helpful of the @Translink_NI Airport Express driver to try to stop me from making a contactless payment on the bus - "you should have bought a ticket in there (the station) as you're supposed to do" - Belfast moving backwards 🙄
They go low, how shocking to humiliate in that way

Yesterday I took a streetcar named Desire and then transferred to one called Cemeteries and rode six blocks and got off at Elysian Fields.
Love the intensity of this production, the jolting percussion, the build of tension. Pleased I got to see it again. Patsy Ferran is a wonder!
Looks like Valentine's Day!
Much Ado About Nothing was just what I needed, a real lift. Full of joy, music, dance: outrageous, OTT laughs - but without losing the poetry, the language. Wish I could go again!

My visit to Paris included another visit to the lovely @LidoParis for #HelloDolly and two of my favourites @cazoconnor ♥️ and Peter Polycarpou. In their element. Lovely performances from @carl_au and Jemima Eaton too. It looked and sounded great. Bravo @StephenMear 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
And of course Les Mis @theatrechatelet was on my list too: it was good to be back there again: I've seen so much #Sondheim in that theatre, including seeing @cazoconnor as Mrs Lovett ...
Just paid a flying visit to London. If laughs are required there are a couple of great and wonderfully over the top options south of the river! Joyful, perfect for Christmas without being for Christmas.

Adrien Brody is quiet and charismatic in The Fear of 13 at @DonmarWarehouse That's often the key. Pleased I got to see it ...
And now I find myself in Paris 🤔
The dressing up weeks on #StrictlyComeDancing are mostly just really irritating and they've added another one 🙄

There is plenty of money. It's just in the wrong hands.

And back home.
7 days. 3 cities. 10 shows!
8 of the shows cost under £25, 4 of those under £20 remarkably: it can be done!
And not long until the next one 😉 #theatre #regionaltheatre #offwestend #fringe
