“Gamers don’t have to be your audience. ‘Gamers’ are over.” *studio collapses
Don’t Nod, the studio behind the original Life is Strange, is collapsing. The French developer is facing a near-total layoff, up to 85 jobs, which would leave its French teams with only a small number of employees. The studio has struggled with a string of underperforming releases, the most recently the sci-fi adventure Aphelion. Don’t Nod has warned that it may not have enough funding to continue operating beyond January 31, 2027, and has entered a French “safeguard” procedure to restructure its finances.

I hate to be this cynical, but I’ll be honest…running for Mayor exposes you to things that make you believe the city is actually being overtaken by demonic energy. Drive south Fig at night. Go to 6th and San Pedro. You see children openly prostituting, drug zombies setting dogs and cats on fire, babies born to crackheads and tossed in a dumpster, dead people just lying in the streets…that’s not even to mention the dozen neighbors of ours who burned alive in what is now a crumbled hellscape. Many times I wondered if the city’s problems weren’t beyond the reach of any politician’s capacity to actually fix. There is a cultural and spiritual rot that can’t be fixed at the ballot box. Until we fix the culture, we are kinda just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic and the shit we shovel around every 4 years doesn’t really mean a thing.
I am not kidding about the demons in LA btw. My best friend works at McDonald’s and some dude tried getting her to be his sugar baby while she was handing him his order in the drive thru. My other friend was on a film set and one of the actors tried getting him to be in her p0rno outta nowhere while he was helping her down a hill. And I was acting in a film where I learned one of the stuntmen was invited to this house and they were trying to get him into a cult while doing a bunch of demonic rituals. Bunch of unclothed men in bed. No clothes at all. He immediately left. Not to mention I’ve been followed and attacked by drug addicts. I know people who were almost killed. DONT COME TO LA. DONT DO IT.

Oh, I don't know, maybe he did it because you're running on a platform of "let's take all of Elon Musk's stuff and throw him in the gulag"?
Elon Musk is dumping half a billion dollars into Republican races. Why? Because Democrats in Congress won’t be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and will actually fight to lower costs.

Piers Morgan asked an activist to define “non-binary.” She panicked, deflected, and cried it was “uncomfortably personal.” Then Riley Gaines dropped the hammer: “If you think this is uncomfortably personal, try undressing in a locker room with a 6’4 naked man.” TOTAL DESTRUCTION. 🔥

Members of the Chicago Teachers Union suggest that “the United States government must fall,” adding that all who agree must be “willing to kill and to be killed.” This is reminiscent of the scene in the movie *I Am Legend* in which the zombies stop fearing the sunlight.
Exclusive. I just infiltrated and recorded a call hosted by the Chicago Teachers Union in the United States with leftist students activists and the teachers helping them in France. The teachers in the USA are actively coordinating with the unions in France. And they're calling explicitly for the fall of the United States government. This is the full, unedited recording of the call, so no one can accuse me of taking things out of context. I will release clips separately. These are the things @RealAlexJones will never show you, because they didn't mention working with Muslims (they actually made fun of that idea a few times). The truth matters. Here are the primary source receipts.

Raised Catholic, I was taught abortion was wrong in all circumstances. I became a single-issue voter. Years later my first pregnancy ended tragically. At 12 weeks there was no heartbeat. They scheduled a D&C. I was sobbing so hard during the procedure that they stopped and brought my husband in to calm me before trying again. That’s the same procedure used for abortion. Since Roe fell, women in many states have been denied or delayed that care while doctors fear prosecution. Abortion saved my life. It allowed me to go on and have three successful pregnancies. I would never take life-saving care from a woman and her doctor. But if a woman’s faith precludes her from this, I respect her decision. That’s her choice for herself. Changing your mind isn’t weakness. It’s strength. #Catholic #choice #Roe

I'm not American, but I am a historian. I view the entire Pacific theatre as something which could have been avoided, but American foreign policy choices and colonial ambitions forced the issue. America did not, however, necessarily want war with Japan. A land invasion of Japan would have resulted in cataclysmic population collapse, if not outright ethnic cleansing as a consequence of existing Japanese culture and supply constraints. Across the Pacific theatre, Japan operated under what was close to a "no retreat" doctrine; strategic repositioning could be justified, but ceding territory to mitigate losses was not. It was expected, and required often, that soldiers and civilians both would give their lives for the Emperor. To be clear, this is not an indictment against Japan's honour, as its men fought bravely and legitimately believed that they were fighting an implacable, possibly genocidal threat. The Americans, after all, did not have perfectly friendly relations with Japan for the prior century. This attitude, and the belief that terrible harms would come upon Japanese women and children, resulted in horrific and avoidable tragedies. There are many stories from Marine veterans of civilians killing themselves when they successfully occupied an island or village. A few hundred, maybe a thousand here and there, but these events were significant enough they made it to American high command and had US troops seriously questioning what they were doing. And it was for this reason that a mass shock-and-awe decisive strike was planned, to force the unconditional surrender. The American people still wanted revenge and a conditional surrender would not have been that, and, American command wanted to mitigate the damage to civilians because they knew full-well what would happen in the case of a ground invasion. The final point to take note of is, in the months leading up to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Imperial Japanese Army had started training civilian men and women to fight, using everything from farm tools to sharpened bamboo spears. Whether or not this was out of genuine fear or not is irrelevant; it trains the populace to expect certain things and behave in certain ways. So, in the case of a ground invasion without the use of nuclear weapons: A wave of bombers strikes Japanese airfields first, destroying most of them essentially overnight. They also target and destroy any military bases they can find, as the US planes can simply fly higher than the Japanese interceptors. This goes on for two weeks, with a final ultimatum issued: Surrender or the mainland will be invaded. The Japanese generals refuse. America lands its troops across the Eastern coasts, moving inland rapidly. Warships bombard cities and fortifications, while overhead planes firebomb everything. Even trying to mitigate damages and warning civilians to evacuate, many stay behind to fight and are slaughtered by the thousands. American troops arrive to razed cities with few scattered defenders, most too poorly equipped to present a real threat. Word gets out to the government of Japan, who declares that this is an existential war and that everyone must fight. The Soviets now, having finished in Germany, are turning Eastward and are moving to invade Hokkaido as well as Japan's remaining territories in continental Asia. Already stretched thin defending against America, the Soviets quickly move in and take over. Thousands of Japanese women, having colonized these provinces when they were conquered, are raped. They later go on to form a distinct local ethnicity of mixed Russo-Japanese people, with much of those continental territories and Hokkaido permanently changed, demographically. Back on the Mainland, Japan's industrial centres are gone. Instead of nuking them, Hiroshima and Nagasaki are firebombed and the cities do not survive. The devastation and casualty numbers are similar, albeit drawn out over several weeks of sustained bombardment. Due to interruptions in food supplies, millions of urban civilians starve. Many lose faith in the Japanese government and decide to seek refuge in American-built concentration camps where they at least receive food and shelter. These camps are not safe either, however, as while Americans violently punish any rapists found amongst their number, many rapes do still occur. Children trying to protect their mothers are viciously beaten, and this reaches the American mainland as a series of scandals. Every mile of land secured by American forces comes with at least 50% casualty rates among the locals, often by their own hands, sometimes when they attack American troops. Traps severely damage American troops' morale, but aren't common issues as they push towards Japan's capital. Upon reaching it, the Emperor is quickly found, surrounded, imprisoned and forced to surrender. A press statement is issued, broadcast to every city, every internment camp, every newspaper, etc., mirroring the one we saw in real life. Accompanying it, however, is a declaration that Japan is now an American colony. Administratively, Japan loses its autonomy. It is given a constitution much more restrictive than the one in real life, however, much of the worst consequences are still avoided for the same reasons as in real life. The major differences are mass depopulation, permanent American bases across the entirety of Japan, and the complete loss of its Northern isles. Hokkaido becomes a Soviet province, completely alien in culture and language from the rest of Japan, forming a North/South Japan not unlike Korea. The entire island is demographically changed, with a large influx of American men taking Japanese women as wives; primarily due to so many of Japan's men being wiped out during the war. Modern parallels to this is Ukrainian women. Japanese itself becomes a secondary, local ethnic language whilst the primary language is English. This is, primarily, for ease of communication between the provisional government of Japan and America. In this alternate timeline, Communism is much more powerful of a force in Japan as well, thanks to both Soviet and CIA subversion within the country. Its identity already damaged heavily from the war, and demographic changes, it's possible that 'South Japan' ends up seeking unification with 'North Japan', with a constant and persistent risk of violent revolution. That's a bit harder to predict, however. All in all, while I absolutely loathe the loss of life from using nuclear weapons, I do truly believe it was the lesser of two evils. The alternative sees Japan demographically ruined and its culture annihilated, while losing territory to the Soviets who continue to push their weight around militarily. Without the fear of nuclear exchange, there's no reason for the soviets to ever stop in their expansionism besides domestic tensions and so the second half of the 20th century would have been much bloodier all around. A terrible case where it was necessary to sacrifice a few, for the sake of the many. Both in Japan, and around the world.
I’m Japanese. Question for Americans 🇺🇸 If nuclear weapons had NEVER existed during WWII… Would Japan have stood a chance against America? 🇯🇵⚔️🇺🇸 ⚔️ It would’ve been a close fight. 🇺🇸 America would’ve still dominated. ⏳ Japan could’ve held out much longer. 🤔 The outcome might’ve been different. Was America’s military superiority already overwhelming without the atomic bombs? I want your honest opinion.

Fraudulent false claim was just dropped after my dispute. Why these frauds are even able to do this I have no idea.
I've had a copyright claim submitted over a few small Tesla clips in my latest video while talking about some of the sweet Roadster thruster footage. Obviously all fair use. How is it fair @YouTubeCreators that a baseless claim like this can be made by a company that has absolutely nothing to do with Tesla? All monetisation removed again for up to 30 days including shopping and I just need to take it until my dispute expires. Add to that I need to tick boxes in my dispute submission agreeing that "I understand that filing fraudulent disputes may result in termination of my YouTube channel." For creators this stuff scares them into being bullied into having their earnings taken away. It only needs a 2 second glance to see that the claim itself is fraudulent, so such claims should never make their way to a creator in the first place. All the power is with the claimant, almost nothing with the creator. 🥺

Took Ruby camping and spent twenty minutes calling her name through the woods. Finally found her inside somebody else’s camper, eating scrambled eggs while an older couple discussed whether she needed a blanket. Told them she was mine. The woman looked me dead in the eye and said, “Well, she seems hungry.” Got judged as a father by a woman my dog had known for eleven minutes.
