BREAKING: Cade Tyson has been granted another year of eligibility and will play for the Minnesota Gophers in the 2026-27 season, sources tell me. The former leading scorer (19.6 PPG) is cleared following today’s 10th Circuit hearing and will return to Niko Medved’s roster.

Addressing the many concerns about listening to Wolves games if you're outside the Twin Cities. The @Audacy app, @iHeartRadio app & @timberwolves app all currently have geofencing on them. So, if you're more than 75 miles from downtown Minneapolis the games will be "blacked out." This is mandated by the league, it is not a Timberwolves decision. I know it's frustrating, especially since the Wolves "broadcast territory" includes all/parts of MN, IA, ND, SD, NE, KS & WI -- a significantly larger area. Solutions... 1) WCCO 830-AM -- Go old school & find a radio. WCCO's nighttime signal booms across the upper Midwest & a good portion of the rest of the country. 2) SiriusXM Sports Pass -- Radio PBP for all NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL & College games for just $5/month or $49/year + 1 month FREE. Here's the link: siriusxm.com/sports-pass-tri… 3) NBA Audio League Pass -- Radio PBP of every team's games all season (including preseason & playoffs) for just $10. Here's the link: payment.nba.com/checkout Hope that was helpful, thank you for listening.

The Viking offense showed shotgun more than ever under Kevin O'Connell last week, perhaps adjusting to more of what makes QB Kyler Murray comfortable? Former Viking Chad Greenway and the "Inside The North" crew think more adjustments are coming:

The Vikings might be 4-0 heading to New Orleans - but former linebacker @chadgreenway52 and the "Inside The North" crew thinks the rest of the division will be nipping at their heels, and the Vikings need to get better. Listen to the show Sundays at 10am or on the Audacy app!

The Vikings signed Odell Beckham Jr. to their practice squad Wednesday, adding depth and experience for their lagging offense. Beckham's return this year to the Giants at age 33 after being out of football in 2025 lasted three games before his release. audacy.com/wccoradio/local-s…

Twins baseball is on the air - we'll probably be on the air somewhere around 5pm, so you only have to suffer through 1/3 of the usual amount of my incorrect takes @wccoradio
