there’s this weird thing that happens. not like it’s my first time noticing it tho.
i started watching a series for the first time, and suddenly started seeing references (stickers, images) from that series everywhere.
i mean, i've been on the internet this whole time and nobody showed me this shii until i started watching the series
almost like my entire timeline (not just on x) was waiting for me to discover it first before bringing it to my feed.
there was another time i was talking to a friend and he mentioned something i had definitely not heard or seen before.
then, later that same day, i randomly came across that exact word or thing again (can’t remember per se).
it could be anything really.
it’s happened to me a couple of times now, and i can’t just ignore it, and i suppose i can’t be the only one that has experienced it😂
just wondering… is there anything this is called?

Traders and teams are building on powerful prediction market rails, but the infrastructure layer hasn’t kept up, and the gap is widening.
After months of conversations with traders and teams across prediction and DeFi, we’re opening the Lotus waitlist with 100 spots to the execution layer the stack has been missing.

You bought a Ferrari, very beautiful and powerful.
And then you parked it in a garage for five years. You never drove it or let anyone see it.
You Just let it sit.
To be honest that's what most of us do with Bitcoin today.
We own this asset that could be working for us, and we just keep it.
I found a way to drive the car and keep it. 👇
First, let me introduce you to @Gyndore
It's the first Bitcoin-backed stablecoin protocol on @base that lets you borrow against your Bitcoin without having to sell it.
You just deposit cbBTC, mint gynUSD (a stablecoin pegged to the dollar), and like that your Bitcoin is earning, working and paying you.
While you still own every sat.
You don't sell the Ferrari and you don't give up ownership. You just borrow against its value.
Now let me show you why this is different from everything else out there.
Most lending protocols let you borrow maybe 70-80 cents for every dollar of Bitcoin you put up. That's fine and safe but it's also kind of weak.
Gyndore lets you borrow 91 cents. You put up 11, you borrow 10. Traditional money markets make you put up 13 or 15 for the same $10.
Stay with me
"But what happens if Bitcoin drops?"
I asked the same question too.
Gyndore has something called a Stability Pool. Think of it like a first-response team standing by.
People put gynUSD into this pool and earn 70% of all the interest borrowers pay.
When someone gets liquidated, the pool absorbs the debt and gives the depositors cbBTC at a 5% discount.
Everyone wins and your loan keeps running.
Here's what finally made me stop scrolling and actually pay attention.
Most DeFi projects have admin keys. That means some team somewhere can change the rules whenever they want, add fees and mess with your money.
Gyndore doesn't have that. Once it's fully live, no one can change the core rules. Simply just code that does what it says.

And every loan you take becomes an NFT.
I know that sounds like a gimmick. I rolled my eyes too when I first read it.
But think about it.
You can sell your loan to someone else, transfer it to a different wallet, use it as collateral somewhere else.
Your debt becomes something you can actually trade.
That's genuinely useful if you know how to move around DeFi.
Okay, so you've borrowed gynUSD against your Bitcoin. Now what?
You can actually earn yield with it. And it's not some complicated DeFi strategy with a lot of steps and a headache👀
You just take that gynUSD and deposit it into the Stability Pool.
That's the same pool I mentioned earlier that handles liquidations.
In return, you earn a share of 70% of all the interest that borrowers pay.
That's it. Deposit. Earn. Withdraw whenever you want.
So why build this on Base instead of somewhere else?
Three reasons.
First, fees are cheap. I am talking pennies per transaction. That matters when you're managing loans or depositing into pools.
Second, cbBTC is everywhere on Base. That's the asset you need for collateral.
Deep liquidity means you can actually use the system without slippage eating your profits.
Third, Coinbase distribution without Coinbase control. You get the reach and the user base, but the protocol runs on its own. No company can shut it down or change how it works.
Base is just the right home for Bitcoin-backed DeFi.
So here's where you stand.
You can keep your Bitcoin parked in the garage, safe and untouched sitting there like it has been for years.
Or you can borrow against it, put it to work, earn yield on the stablecoin you mint and still own every single sat when Bitcoin hits new highs.
@Gyndore is not magic, it is just finally someone built the keys.

I'll be there when the protocol launches. Hope you will too?

Every crypto cycle fights a different war.
In 2020, we battled over blockspace. In 2021, we fought for Layer 1 dominance.
Today, our war is over liquidity.
Right now, millions of users are bringing massive volume into prediction markets, only to watch that capital fracture because the underlying infrastructure is broken.
The fact is everyone wants to paint the shiny frontend casino. Almost nobody is willing to lay the pipes behind it.
@uselotusai just wrapped up their Colosseum hackathon sprint and @superteam backing. But the most important metric they just posted aren't these.
It’s the over a 100 top-tier traders and market makers sitting on their gated private beta waitlist.
When you build the execution layer designed to route this much fragmented liquidity, you don't test it with retail hype. You lock the doors and let volume traders and bots try to break the routing logic behind closed doors.
If the plumbing survives that kind of capital pressure, scaling to the masses is light work.
The build sprint is done, the stress test is next.

Prediction markets are a perfect example.
Complex, powerful, but hard to ‘package’ as entertaining…so they get buried🙂↔️
⚽️ Polymarket x Serie A = massive Web3 adoption.
But as millions of football fans bring unprecedented volume on-chain, prediction market liquidity is going to fragment fast.
The execution and routing layer unifying it all is about to become the most critical infrastructure of this cycle.
