A vote for the Green Party is never wasted, in fact each one has £££ value as Short Money to @TheGreenParty – I'm a bit amazed that @carla_denyer didn't mention it just now to @Emmabarnett on @BBCWomansHour – it's potentially worth hundreds of thousands per year.
Correction, interviewer was @itsanitarani and she changed the subject rather quickly!

Great programme. When I looked into the UK gov definitions, ‘Free Range’ was allowed to be used to describe chickens in huge barns, ~15 per sq metre, with a tiny door to the outside that many would never reach. So it’s organic for me whenever possible. @DoctorChrisVT
“The chickens will be no trouble, argued Chris. They'll be free range…once they're big enough to leave the warmth of our house.”

I'm writing a piece on UK jazz venues. There are so many. Everyone I've connected with on this has been enthusiastic and says their venue is often packed. Is it a hidden secret of the UK's music life? Many musicians started in jazz & I reckon most people have been to a jazz gig.
I’m at #venuesday for @ashburtonarts in #woolwich run by @musicvenuetrust for #grassrootsmusicvenues #gmv - anyone else?
Kicking off with @markdavyd after an award to @ENTERSHIKARI for supporting small music venues.

For Labour leadership, even talking of rejoining EU is seen as anti-democratic. @TheGreenParty says loud & clear: if rejoining is right for our economy, environment, workers' rights, public services & more, we should do so when time & conditions are right #BrexitInquiry @euromove
.@We_OwnIt is a great campaigning organisation. We’ll worth supporting.

Interesting snippet about Suella Braverman (then Fernandes) and allegations of electoral rigging at among Young Conservatives at Cambridge University. Well, I’m sure everything is different 22 years on, but I don’t like the electoral suppression of Voter IDS @RealBristolNews
& they knew they had means (££ + #cambridgeanalytica) to deliver ads full of lies (illegal in an election if printed) to millions of gullible people in the last days and hours of the campaign. More than plenty to change the votes of > 630k people that created Leave’s ‘majority’.

#WildIsles showed us the beauty & power of nature but also its fragility - we are one of the most nature-depleted countries in the world. On #EarthHour Govt must enact #PeoplesPlanForNature, to harness nature's power & protect it not just today but for generations to come @wwf_uk
Thanks @bbcnickrobinson for making @SuellaBraverman answer the ? about 'safe and legal' routes for asylum seekers to come to the UK. She said they can do it via the United Nations. I searched for how to contact the UNHCR @Refugees and found “Nobody can apply for resettlement”.
As also covered extensively on @BBCRadio4 and @PrivateEyeNews for many many years. Absolutely appalling injustice.
Up in Shetland today, the first women are taking part as guizers in the #UpHellyAa fire and Viking festival. @BBCWomansHour

More about #GrenfellTower on #bbcr4today this morning. From what I heard in the inquiry, it was clear that if #BRE had not been privatised by John Major's government, the catastrophe would not have happened. Not the only cause but actions have consequences. See @PeteApps too.
