I’m not asking Mississippi State to be Georgia, or LSU, or Alabama, or Texas. I’m asking them to be Iowa State. At the very least, can you be Iowa State?

Another week tweeting this, but so much of our failures this season comes from lack of depth and an unsustainable style of football. Lebby focus’s so hard on skill positions, he spreads himself so thin along the line of scrimmage. For Mississippi State to succeed, they need to look at how teams in other conferences with relatively similar resources win. Iowa State is a really good example of a program whose teams starts and finishes along the line of the scrimmage. You have a winning lottery ticket at QB, but have to be able to protect him and move bodies back to move the ball effectively. If we keep Lebby, he needs to stop throwing money at one-year rentals with no backup plan. Recruit and coach sustainably, you have to use your resources more efficiently than anyone else.
