Austin Reaves says the beautiful thing about this Lakers team is that there are no egos:
“You just want to win basketball games, however that happens.”

Gafford with Luka: good Center
Gafford without Luka: Trade Material
Kessler with Luka: perfect FG%
Luka makes EVERYONE he plays with better. That’s his real superpower which gets overlooked too often.
Nobody has that combination of vision, passing, and gravity. Nobody.

The Lakers are better - and better off - without LeBron James. Luka resented his presence, wanted this to be HIS team. LeBron wanted to play at least one more year in Hollywood. Lakers said no, enough.

Lebron James literally would stomp his feet like a little child to the refs and you said nothing! Miss me with this bullshit
Stephen A Smith APPLAUDS Yaxel Lendeborg for calling out Luka to quit crying to the refs:
“Here’s why I’m supportive in what Yaxel is saying. He’s saying ‘if you’re so great, quit whining to the officials. Just go out there and bust my ass. But stop whining to the officials looking to them for help.’ I was really ticked off when that ref gave Yaxel that technical. I’m calling out the NBA. NBA gotta stop that nonsense! Let them talk!”

The reason us Laker fans dont hate Luka like we do Lebron is because Luka is not a competition dodging full of excuses no bag having fraud like Lebron
Plain and simple
It has NOTHING to do with Kobe
Austin Reaves opens up on the LeBron hate in L.A.
“They still probably had the ‘Kobe is better’ type of mentality. ... But they don’t have that with Luka. He was kind of after Kobe. They don’t have a reason not to embrace him like a Kobe."

Opening nights with LeBron were automatic losses, followed by taking subtle shots at teammates.
Now Lakers are finally a young dynamic team with no ego. And they are bringing a winning culture back to the city.
Really feels like the spirit of Kobe is returning to LA.

Lol, this is exactly what we’ve been saying for years. It’s been obvious to anyone willing to look at the situation honestly. I’m just glad they’ve finally stopped the gaslighting and admitted what we’ve been saying all along.

Austin Reaves had some insight as to why he believes it will be easier for Luka to win over Laker fans than it was with LeBron.
