it has calm quiet spaces, sound absorbing walls, bubbly water cylinders, several separate quiet/individual rooms to be in and some tunnels to crawl in.

many people think washington's landing (herr's island) is where george washington nearly froze to death but this isn't true. instead washington was on wainwright island near what is now the bernard dog park and what is definitely not an island anymore
they camped the night on wainwright island and awoke to find the water frozen to shore, allowing them to walk the remainder of the way.
pittsburgh has infrastructure literally swallowing buses and philly is jealously trying to make monuments out of a car that drove into a construction site.

🚨 ALERT 🚨
Our new Ford F-250 truck was stolen early this morning! Please be on the lookout for our truck. It has tool boxes on the sides & may still have our logo on the doors/front hood. This truck is VERY important to the work we do cleaning up dumpsites! PLEASE SHARE.
going south on s 10th street bridge in pgh there are 4 dino geese atop the second arch. they were graffitied there in 1993 by tim kaulen, who painted more than a hundred geese around the city. by 2018 the only publicly remaining ones were at carrie furnace and s 10th st bridge.
to raise money to cover the cost of painting the geese, kaulen sold shirts with the geese on them. this covered the cost of the paint, the lift, and related expenses amounting to just over 5k.
