What a strange sort of year. I haven't postd much due to the industry being slow. This week however it's been all go. Two great auditions from my agent followed by an in person audition for a verbatim theatre piece. And finally last minute filming tomorrow for an indie film 😁
Not a lot of people know my personal situation with my son. Generally I have him for week on/ off. Just got back from an amazing 10 days in Crete with him. Handing him back to his mum was one ofthe hardest times since we split 5 years ago.Hell never know how much joy he gives

10 audition/casting philosophies I wish every actor could know (from a Directors perspective). 🧵:
1. Don’t be grateful just to be in the room. You deserve to be there. This is YOUR slot and WE are grateful to have YOU there. Take your time and own the space.
Absolutely love getting a self tape through, So Far, Im 6 for 6, every time I go on holiday I can guarantee one comes through. Starting to think I should go away more.

Popped to London for some filming Saturday. Great day. It was an indie film, but the best part was he was willing to pay his actors. #workingactor

I consider that a good audition. Great chat with the director throughout. Good feedback, the director said he loves my approach to it and finds the character I brought to have an interesting angle
Today is a good Day, a Zoom with Sophie person. Followed by an in-person Call back audition and another self tape to submit this eve
The industry certainly feels it's picking up. I signed up to the Manuel puros 5 day workshop, thinking it will be quiet. Friday evening 4 auditions in the mailbox. One for theatre, who ironically I bumped into the director in Tesco's last night not an hour after reading it.
The new Episode of the podcast, features the lovely #IsabelleDefaut from @PortraitTheatre . Where we discuss her career and making opportunities in the arts

Off to Dover castle today with my 6 year old and lovely partner. I'm the one up early with excitement, love a bit of history and explore

Hello. Do you need audition space in south east London? I have a room to hire for such purposes and we’re about to be a bit quieter. Cheap rates( cheaper than in town) - email me [email protected]
