i really wasn't paying attention to the discussion, but i went and found the video he's referencing youtu.be/QfHWhjEI16s and doyle says (search the transcript)
-the sooner this wraps up, the better it will be.
-it's ultimately the rot within our country that has the greatest chance of destroying us, which is why we need to do everything in our power to remove it.
And so, yeah, let's wrap this up quickly. It appears to have been pretty successful for what it was trying to achieve. But, uh, at the end of the day,
what is going to make our country something that we can recognize and live in again and be happy and be proud of?
All of that is going to require much more domestic political action than uh you know dealing with the the threats coming from outside the house.
-But I say all of this now to inform our conversation about the Iran war because people are just like
waxing poetic about all of this nonsense which I'm not excited about this. I lament that we are in this position. So, I get that. But we have to talk about things at a level that is beyond just like waxing poetic about like freaking dying for Israel.
